With Ukraine losing many of their men to a protracted war, I can see the country becoming a Mormon state for the remaining men by taking several women as “wives”.

it is impossible to get an accurate estimate of military casualties due to the fog of war. Estimates from a variety of sources vary wildly.

Ukraine tends to over inflate their successes and under report their failures to boost moral. Russia probably does the same.

What we can estimate with a high degree of accuracy are the civilian casualties. 5,000 civilians have been killed and about the same injured since the Russian invasion.

We also know the territorial gains made by the Russian forces, that doesn't indicate what the military death toll is though.
