I agree. There will always be those in search of - something or other - when wars arise.
Nevertheless, I suspect putting them in front of a firing squad is probably a bit OTT. Not to mention legally questionable. The subject of violations of international law tending to attract frequent indignation in here.
I suspect that actually they are after some sort of deal. Shooting them would just attract even more, very public, determination to see their aims thwarted. In the foot - sort of thing.
