Of course, on another matter now Finland, Sweden, Maldova and Gerogia are being ecouraged to apply to join the Nato. Have they not seen the consequence of such a thing from what happened in Ukraine?

Maldova has a Russian population and so do Finland and the Baltic states. Sooner or later if they are mistreated Russia clearly will not hesitate to first arm them and then go to their help.

Nato has shown itself toothless and I have no doubt that if Russia attacks on of the old Soviet Republics because their own people are being attacked, Nato will not risk a third world war and aid them other than supply them with weapons.
