When the great man talked many times about his fond wish that the west be subjected to nuclear annihilation (Moscow apparently being safe from retaliation due to their SAMs ) you said nothing. Perhaps obliterating hundreds of millions of people in the west, which you clearly have a fanatical hatred for meets with your approval?

When he called Milti’s long dead Mother a whore, among many other disgusting insults, you said nothing.

When he told me - after I suggested ending the spat - among other jewels, to “Wipe the cum off your face”, you said nothing.

When he ended virtually all of his outrageous rants with a You said nothing.

So, perhaps you’ll understand when I ask ……….. do keep your hypocritical moralizing about this war to yourself?


Some in here not only have sympathy for what Russia’s been doing in Ukraine but enthusiastically applaud their efforts. From privileged and comfortable situations they piously promote what amounts to the death of thousands and dislocation of millions. I’ve been called “offensive”. Absolutely. Those who support such aggression are IMHO pathetic morons.

First of all clearly you are not politically mature enough to understand what has happened for the last 30 years never mind in the last few months. You are clueless as to who the aggressors are. But I have of no intention of posting any more about the matter. I have said what I was going to say and if you ignore them or do not understand or value them then it is your problem.
Secondly, I know what GR is like and expected nothing less after what Milti accused him of. No need to interfere, they are two grown men and they should be able to solve their problems between themselves. As to comments of Nuclear war, that is not a serious prospect and I have told him so. Nothing more needed to be done.

Although I did raise the issue several times why the admin has ignored the matter. Not that you would have noticed. As GR said there is no admin left here which I am surprised as the host bord should have realised it and taken steps to remedy the situation.

Milti was wrong posting personal things here. Those kinds of posts belong to Facebook etc.

...who is here the longest (does it matter); it goes back even longer for some of us because there was more than one Forum for dialog on the Problem and problems Cypriots face, a while ago.

...you are missing Lordo's point LR, IF YOU ARE THINKING HE IS A HOWLER FOR WAR, he is not. (i don't think any of us are, although the fear of a changing world and how that is expressed is unique and different with each individual). Quite frankly i find you as obnoxious as any one of the "them" you like to talk about by making these very personal diversions like them on topics that, i imagine, are important enough (like this one) to us (for whatever reason) that we exchange information so that we may expand our own understanding, our horizons, and reasoning, personally and collectively, (like Syria, a topic perhaps for years to come); for the reader, and all the readers to come as well (because they too exist).

(let me ask you this LR, would you find it normal, natural, for any open Forum meant to be a representative of Cypriot views not to have strong and differing opinions on Russians, or Americans, or Brits, being Cypriots and non-aligned?)

...aren't we lucky that this Forum exists, and having no so called Administrator (whoever they are i am grateful to them, that they trust us and respect us as Human beings so much), because bills are paid; that the venture provides a return in exchange. If we are here to represent ourselves as Cypriots who care about Cyprus so that others interested in Cypriots and Cyprus find their experience here enriching, i will do my part.

After so many years a wealth of knowledge stands behind each one of us as we speak, the feelings of people who lived through the moments of History they discuss, and yet the decades that have passed are not many since 'we' have had this chance to record our thoughts and to add them to a Forum as Cypriots of these thoughts; only since the advent of the Information Age. Think about it; already: "this is not Facebook", it is one hopes an oasis where one hungry for knowledge would find food, the nourishment that they are looking for (incidents, dates, reactions) carefully prepared. Places like that are not always pretty mind you, and beyond the Modern Age becoming more rare, like the quaint little cafe you would find along the road, in Cyprus, making an unforgettable mezze takes years and a tradition; there is sometimes blood on the floor, while some Cypriots are vegan, Cypriots also like meat. So yes, i don't like GR, but he is my kind of a cook (you would have to go back pretty far to understand why), so too milti, i do so much want to hear about this most glorious island and its people from his mind, such a story teller, because he too is a Patriot and not just a cook.

Let's just say our food is authentic, we, each one of us concern ourselves (perhaps a little too much) over its freshness and its goodness, but that way one hopes it won't kill anybody. It is a matter of taking ourselves a little more seriously, the shop is ours so to speak, to clean-up a bit, ourselves, because if the atmosphere has become quite dull, and the menu is not what it used to be, that's on us.
