BTW. Mariupol will not be fully Russian until the Ukrainians in Azovstal have been overcome. Putin needs that, at least, for his 9th May “victory” parade.

Marioupol is In Russian hands for about a month ago. Nobody is shelling it, except the Azovstal factory. There's absolutely no one trapped there except the Azov criminals in Azovstal. The "mayor" who reports all these is not even living there.
Who's is feeding you so much hay?

NB. I only read 2 paragraphs.

I’ve a life. Friends, lots of family. I’m gone from my disco days to being a patriarch in 5 minutes it sometimes seems. Anyway, I don’t spend my life in places like this. So, it’s often a case of returning to find several pages of posts have passed on an issue,

By all means, don’t take my word for it, look for yourself. You will find Mariupol now resembles 1945 Berlin. It’s been destroyed by prolonged Russian bombardment.

The idea that it’s inhabitants, whatever language they happen to speak, are welcoming the army which did that, flowers in arms, and begging them not to leave is a product of your imagination.

You’re doing the same as GR. Self radicalizing on professional Kremlin fairy tales.whilst convincing yourself every other POV is “filthy propaganda”. Try thinking for yourself.

I don’t know what you mean by “hay” but in your case it seems to me it’s more a case of grass. Isn’t that what sheep eat?

Read what you will. You often post protracted views. May you reap what you sow. I treat people like they treat me.

Where did you get this meaningless writing style from? Agatha Christie??
Nevertheless you clearly live in your own(?) "reality", that of beings been fed with bad quality hay. I lost interest watching them...

If as you say the place is flattened the residents are welcoming the Russians, it suggests that the residents have a reason to welcome them. Perhaps Ukrainian Army has something to do with the devastation. Either they attacked the building which they knew belonged to the Russian speakers or that they blame the army for taking cover in the city to shield by using the city and the residents. Why else would the residents be shouting at the Ukrainian soldiers to go.
It seems criminal for any army to take cover in populated areas, especially as they are an army rather than some sort of guerrilla movement which would be very lightly armed. These guys have been armed by Nato to defend themselves with a Nato General to boot..

Only Vladimir Putin's death will end war, says Pro-US Ukraine top spy chief Major General Kyrylo Budanov
http://worldnews24.over-blog.com/2022/0 ... danov.html

Well, maybe that or Ukraine getting nuked.

Somehow the West personalizing this war as “Putin’s war” are not seeing the forest through the trees.

This war is Russia’s war for it’s future as it sees it, and having said that, as a last resort if push comes to shove, the war will more likely to end with Ukraine getting nuked than Putin’s death.

...put it this way Kikapu, what would have happened if Trump "won" on January 6?

He would be shipping weapons to Russia against Zelensky as a payback for not getting dirt from him on Hunter Biden when he asked him for it before the 2020 elections.

If Trump was the still the President, this war in Ukraine would have been over long time ago......in Russia’s favour.

Everyone was so caught up with getting Trump out of office, they failed to look forward to who they would be replacing him with.

But now that he is gone, everything seems to be on the up.

Global tensions are up, risk of nuclear war is up, food prices are up, energy prices up, irregular migration up, military spending up, debt up, inflation up, up, up and away.

Is it a wonderful thing that Trump has gone or has it turned out to be a disaster of epic proportions?

By the way, Cyprus had no right.to defend it self against the Turkish invasion. Should have just welcomed the Turkish army.

No anxiousness or anger from me

His explanation on the issue of food crisis is quite interesting. According to him it started a long time ago, when the Americans started forcing the supply chains to be redirected towards themselves.
The new sanctions against Russian ships, forbidding them to go anywhere, is the ultimate blow in breaking the food supply chains, he said.

He further went on saying that he pointed to Antonio Guteres that it was a shame for him, not mentioning in his report about food , energy and financial crisis, that sanctions against Russia was the KEY REASON. He said Gutere's excuse was that he was later asked by journalists, and agreed to that. Go figure how the puppet UNSG thinks a reply to a journalist, has the same weight as a written report.

I also liked his joke at the 55 minute:
"Next morning Estonian newspapers were headlined "A drunk Russian deprived the crocodile of his dinner".

If America refused a proposal where any country can join any organisation they wish but are not allowed to build weapons to threaten another country. Americans have refused this proposal it shows that the Americans are only interested in selling weapons and not peace.

Not that I am surprised at all.
