What really stinks is the treatment of refugees get when their from Ukraine and when they are from anywhere else. I am not just talking about the refugees from other countries, I am talking about refugees who are from Ukraine but not blond. Especially as once they leave Ukraine and are not accepted by another country they are not allowed to return back to Ukraine either.

The west has excelled themselves.

Long live the Fourth Reich and the next thousand year.

I'm just wondering as to why each day thousands of so called refugees, In reality economic migrants, risk life and limb to get to the West. If America suddenly opened its borders to anyone wishing to get there, most of the third world countries would suddenly become ....humanless. Even little Cyprus is receiving hundreds of economic migrants each day. The East is massive but it doesn't want any. Besides how many risk their lives to get to Saudi Arabia ? The WEST IS THE KING.

Of all people you should understand both political asylum and refugees. Because we had both.

You of all people who took part in the attacks on the British soldiers in Cyprus before 1960, you chose to move to the UK. Perhaps you can explain it to us. Why?

When it comes to refugees and Political Asylum seekers, there is no so called about it.

Lets take one country and see if we can work it out shall wee.

Afghanistan was a democratic socialist country with total freedom for everybody. Americans decided to arm and train Mujahiddin to over throw the government which is why Russia intervened there back in the 80s. Having suffered under the Taliban then once the Russians left and of course now that the Americans have run away from blocking Taliban coming to power not that what they had there before was any way democratic, how the hell can you blame thses people for leaving Afghanistan and trying to get into Europe.

As to why the west? Perhaps it is because all the other countries are in the control of the west and the corrupt leaders they put in place there makes it impossible to live there either.

Stop insulting the people who are running away from the fuck up the west created and where they decide to go is for themselves to decide. Calling them refugees when they are political asylum seekers and it has been proven that 75% are accepted as such, you are being disgusting attacking them.

At about the 6th minute he says the Russians have only 120 battalions and already lost 29 of them.

I think he probably got confused of the original task force thrown in Ukraine
and he also assumes the Russians have lost 1/4th of it already.

Your thoughts?

...numbers. I can't explain the numbers, but he makes a lot of sense to me. The point he makes is that the weapons Russia has are impressive, it is hard to assess them, because Russia is demonstrating in the Ukraine its lack of capacity as a fighting force because they are unable to configure their efforts on such a larges scale as such.

...he says that Britain will ramp up its own military production to allow for Ukrainian needs. This war as a proxy war he surmises will require Britain will need to "up their game" at least to the end of the century, Ukraine in that sense "is buying us time". Is this a war between "Us" and "Russia"; more the question does a stalemate result in the Ukraine. He says NATO isn't ready. He worries of chemical weapons, asked about WMDs, and what would be terrifying for the rest of the world; there are levels.

...stalemates happen regularly in History. I imagine he expects this to be the most likely outcome. I am waiting to see Putin's allies, like Serbia, to be disruptive as well.

You may not understand numbers but I see you did absorb everything else like a sponge.
Problem with me I can't understand the British when they tend to whisper half of what they are saying.... Yet I got the main points, I agree most probably it will end with a stalemate.

Now about the numbers the Russians have about one million servicemen (280K in active battle units) plus 2 million reserves, and each battalion is 800-1000 men, I think the man was somehow confused.

Firstly let me tell you that I never hated the Brutish even a young 12 year old who took part, a tiny one , in support of the struggle against British rule. I remember the kindness of the British
When I was in the iron age in 1953, let me add that I do not recollect receiving such kindness from the locals who mostly considered orphans as a bloody nuisance.
Yes at the age of 12 in 1958 I took a tiny part, with hindsigh I should not have supported ENOSIS but Independence.
I spent 56 years in the UK and I'm grateful that I had the chance to live in a Western country. I married an English lady and had two children born in the UK. In some ways I consider my self as British/Cypriot born, and support the UK in every way. Unlike most of " foreigners" such as your self who hates the UK yet makes your living there I love the UK, my adopted m9therland. The WEST offers foreigners a life that their own countries do not. I'm talking about the so called asylum seekers who are in reality economic migrants and who steadfastly expect the UK to adopt their culture instead of being grateful for being in a free Western country. The English are a very tolerant race as well as considerate to others.
