So although it may have been “fun” to take credit for something like that yesterday… one should also consider what’s to follow when you do!

It's only natural. either way, this is a massive win for Ukraine, and a massive loss to Russia.

But yeh, it's just a coincidence it sank near Ukraine. It could have been any Russian ship anywhere in the world, but this one just sank near Ukraine.

Wow! At what point can we finally declare Ukraine as the victor?

At what point do we name Pootin as NATO's best ever business development manager?

Even the Neptune missile system manufacturing plant was today utterly demolished, just in case!

In my view, the most important significance of the sinking is that it has fueled the Russian forces into renewed aggression and determination.

First time use of bombers confirmed...

So yeah, this naval loss may well turn out to be a blessing for the Russian operation in the Ukraine as it has served as the kick in the arse they needed to finish off the job.

Russian Ministry of Defence claims the fire on the Moskva deck is now completely extinguished

Just a coincidence that the Moskva sank by a fire lit from a cigarette butt near Ukraine

Also a coincidence that the Moskva sank near Ukraine after Ukraine spread some fake news

Ukraine claims the destruction of the Moskva, but so does the Kremlin, because sailors disobeyed the no smoking signs

The Moskva didn't sink. It received an upgrade last year which turned it into a submarine

The Moskva is conducting a special underwater Naval Operation near Ukraine

Someone merely just pulled the plug out

Now you all know the truth people.

Where are the links?

He lost them here:

And you lost the Moskva!

How many Cruisers left sitting on the wall. There are only 4 cruisers left sitting on the wall!

I think its now safe to send in the Australian navy to finish off the rest. 8)

Yes General send your Australian navy to finish them off.

Putin’s been desperate to “finish off the job” since week 2. Such that he’s getting through his military and political hierarchy in a way that would make Joe Stalin, the great purger, proud. The idea the Russians have been holding back and the Ukrainians better behalf themselves…… or else……….. is farcical.

Then again, farce is a common currency in this thread.

Day 51 and the Russians just lost their Black Sea fleet capital ship, on combat operations near the enemy coast to…………… a cigarette?

Surely, a couple of missiles makes them look less ineptly ridiculous. :?

Russia has for a month and a half tried to fight a “gentleman’s” war by going out of their way to avoid civilian casualties in both tactics and weapons of choice, but NATO’s insistence in playing DIRTY appears to have finally convinced Russia that they have to fight DIRTY too!

Once bombers become “standard use”, it’s goodnight to whatever Ukrainian resistance is left.

So this new development should speed things up tremendously… there’s no question about it.

The gloves are well and truly off now… and it's all thanks to this ship.

You have an odd idea of “gentleman’s war” and avoiding civilian casualties. They’re talking about a possible 10,000 dead from a month of relentless rocket, artillery and bombing on Mariupol alone. Events discovered after their retreat from Kiev have spoken for themselves - to the world.

I still can’t see anything but a Russian “victory” but the aftermath for their country will never be wiped out until the man responsible is called to account. One way or another.

Meanwhile, feel free to continue gloating and boasting about the carnage and suffering inflicted on the population of Ukraine.

Nobody believes the West’s propaganda trash… the mere fact that Russia has avoided the use of bombers for over 50 days, speaks volumes!
