...Neptune, the home-made weapon of Ukraine, which brought this cruiser down.

...a good source of information, a little History, and a detailed analysis of the incident.

There seems to be quite the number of Russian Shops sinking from mysterious fires and accidents as of late.

Maybe it’s Russia’s maritime safety practices!

You are misinformed… Neptune is a subsonic missile system so it’s not a problem for the Moskva to intercept.

As always, junk YT videos are misleading you with the foolish Ukraine government's boasting, a military that can't even defend its own territory let alone bring down a Russian ship.

Not even the Americans who would love to give Ukraine credit, have done so!

Oh yes it’s a problem alright.

Subsonic Cruise missiles like the Neptune Missile are sea skimming at about 100 feet, change direction at programmed waypoints, before homing in to their target.

Subsonic Cruise missiles will be relevant for many decades to come.

In any case Get Real. It doesn’t matter! Moskva is now dead. Destroyed!

Enjoy!

Even if it was a fire, it’s good riddance to the Moskva and also paints a picture of Russian Navy incompetence and lack of readiness. It’s certainly grabbed the West’s attention.

...more History; a review of how NATO got so large,

...Russia's expansion is the reason for NATO, as it is today with Sweden and Finland, as it was so many years ago.

Now, we await for the next Russian “accident” near Ukraine and for more Air Strikes in Russia.
:)
It’s time to destroy Pootin forever.

...fire caused the ship's doom; it's sailors did not have the capacity to mitigate their crisis. Whatever hit the ship did not sink it, i agree; but the result from the damage it did was indeed overwhelming.

...(that says a lot in and of itself)
