He has a most unfortunate distinction of surrendering TWICE to Russians as he had previously surrendered in Crimea in 2014! :?

That must really suck!

If it happens a third time I think our friend Rostislav should consider a different career… I don’t know maybe try a kebab shop or something. :?

Always useful to carry a white handkerchief in ones pocket as a military man in the armed services and at war. You never know when it might be needed!

The best thing that can come out of all this is that individual members may eventually realize their tendency to suicide as a union and opt to withdraw their membership one after the other.

Of course by then we'll be feeding on stale bread and olives...

The EU Parliament CANNOT propose legislation. It's all meaningless blah blah. Only the 27 Commissioners can, and that has to be approved by the Council of Ministers, and the EU Parliament to have an effect.

Yeah, you have to read between the lines. It was all about a "humanitarian" corridor in Marioupol for the 1000+ which included (French, British, American, etc top military ) and others hiding inside the underground labyrinth. All surrendered eventually while the foreigners will be used as a big card in the hand of the Russians.

People think those weapons are free. they are NOT. Look at the new Law in the USA.There are signed documents and Invoices for each and every little item they receive.
Whatever will be left of Ukraine will be paying for eternity.
Imagine how many crooks within Ukraine are getting rich from that.

Geez! The Ukrainian Military never ceases to amaze.

They just hit the Russian navy's Flagship with a Nepune SSM. KABOOM!

Nah, too many problems with that story…

1. The specific Russian ship is very sophisticated with multiple air defense systems on-board and should be able to deter an incoming Neptune missile.

2. The Neptune mobile missile system itself could not have operated in the region that is entirely overrun by the Russians.

3. Had a Neptune missile struck the ship would’ve sunk, but the ship is still afloat and the damage is repairable.

My verdict: It’s most likely what the Russian have said, that a fire accident detonated something that caused the explosion.

Furthermore, I wouldn’t brag if I were the Ukraine that it was a Neptune missile unless they want to undermine their missile system that was unable to do much damage, which I’m sure is not true.

Uhuh!

Defensive systems do not actually mean a sea skimming SSM can't get through - especially if there are a few incomming (there is never just one)

It's extremely possible. Just like how execet missiles hit British Ships in the Falklands War.

The Neptune is pretty badass… it should be able to sink that ship if it can get through, but the damage does not correspond to such a strike.
