Lets face it, Russia will probaply occupy about a third of Ukraine and thats when the war will end. By than they will also realise that the west had no intention of helping Ukraine but every intention of helping their weapons industry to do some sales. Even if not 30%, she will occupy the two areas that declared UDI and a land bridge to Crimea and then it will stop. If Ukraine continues to fight, than the fight will continue and she wil lose more land.

Also there's Russian talk right now of escalating the strike level by a notch or two, to counter the West’s constant arms supplies... meaning they're gonna escalate to cluster bombing, carpet bombing and maybe the “big daddy" bombing, and deservedly so!
