“Ninety-nine percent of the audience that wanted to get real information from Ukraine already got it,” he says. “And for the people who don't want any information from here and prefer watching Russian TV, Twitch won't help.”

...a Ukrainian who now twitches (is that a word?) news to his audience 60% Russian, since the start of the war.

Don't be so sure of that Lordo...

Turkey wants to talk up the Bayraktar drones successes, true or not so to increase sales to third world countries. Who else would buy them?

Oh for sure, but I think they work best against less sophisticated enemies that don't have so much radar and anti-drone defenses.

Look at these two reporting.

This one reported yesterday with Turkish paper “Daily Sabah”. Notice there is no mention of destroyed drones by Russia.

The spokesperson also gave an overall account of what Russia calls a "special military operation" in Ukraine, saying nearly 230 aircraft and helicopters, and 243 air defense systems have been destroyed so far.
Among the destroyed weapons were also nearly 2,100 tanks and other armored combat vehicles, and 239 multiple rocket launchers, he said.

This was reported in the link above with TASS agency on April 10th indicating loss of 436 unmanned aerial vehicles of Ukraine.

Overall, 127 aircraft, 98 helicopters, 234 surface-to-air missile systems, 436 unmanned aerial vehicles, 2,052 tanks and other combat armored vehicles, 232 multiple launch rocket systems, 894 field artillery guns and mortars, as well as 1,975 special military motor vehicles, have been destroyed since the beginning of the special military operation," the spokesman said.

Turks do not want to talk about downed drones in Ukraine since some of them being their own much praised Bayraktar, which was once praised to be a game changer in Ukraine’s favour. Really?

The issue is not that it will turn the war in Ukraine's favour, there is not enough of them but if each drone can knock off 4 tanks before being knocked out, that's a lot of tanks. Especially as each tank is about 10 times the price of a drone.

Russia’s Investigative Committee launched a criminal probe on Monday over a Ukrainian social media advertisement, which called for violence against Russian soldiers. The advertisement, shot in a distinctive style resembling propaganda videos by Islamic State (IS, formerly ISIS) terrorists, features the mock execution of a Russian soldier.

The controversial post emerged on social media over the weekend, sparking outrage in Russia. It features a woman, apparently portraying Ukraine, delivering a hateful speech against Russians with a ‘prisoner’ in clothes resembling the Russian military uniform kneeling by her side. The actress accuses Russian “pigs” of mocking, oppressing and killing Ukrainians for a long time and states that the situation has now changed.

“Something terrible woke up the peace-loving and grain-growing nation. Something that has been dormant for centuries in the bowels of the Dneper banks. Primordial and antique Ukrainian god. And now we’re reaping a bloody harvest. Death awaits you all,” the actress states, ‘slitting’ the throat of the ‘prisoner’ with a sickle.

The woman also vowed revenge for the northwestern Kiev suburb of Bucha, as well as for other Ukrainian towns and cities that allegedly suffered at the hands of Russian troops. Ukraine accused the Russian military of massacring civilians in Bucha early in April after troops withdrew from the area. Moscow denied any involvement in the deaths, insisting the whole Bucha affair was a staged “provocation” by Kiev to frame the country’s military.

The woman who appears in the video has been identified as Andrianna Kurilets, a small-time professional actress from the western Ukrainian city of Lvov. The questionable ‘fame’ and media attention, however, have apparently done little for the actress, as she has deleted her social media profiles amid the fallout from the ad’s premiere.

Apart from the outrage online, the role also prompted a criminal probe by Russia’s Investigative Committee. The actress voiced “calls for violence against officers of the Russian Armed Forces,” the committee said in a statement on Monday.

“In the ad, Kurilets voices extremist statements and cuts a man’s throat with a sickle while smiling. This video has been circulated on social networks and contains explicit hate speech, as well as threats,” it added.

Over recent weeks, multiple real-life graphic videos have emerged from Ukraine, showing abuse of Russian soldiers who had been taken prisoner. The disturbing videos purport to show the torture, beating and outright execution of prisoners by Ukrainian troops.

Foreign students, whom the Ukrainian armed forces plan to use as human shields, have revolted in Sumy. They are asking their embassy to intervene and help evacuate them.

The students are prevented from leaving Sumy by Ukrainian authorities and security forces, they are violent, treated very harshly by men in uniform and not allowed to leave the city.

I know but, it’s bad for business when trying to sell your drones to other countries if many are getting shot down in Ukraine, so you don’t say anything in the hope that the potential buyers are only impressed with just one aspect of it’s usage.

There are cheap drones like those produced by Iran and Turkey and then there are expensive sophisticated ones produced by superpowers for higher altitudes, wider range and deadlier payloads.

The cheep ones were effective against lowly Armenia as used effectively by Azerbaijan last year in Nagorno, but against a superpower that has an answer to every threat in its inventory, they’re no big deal…

There’s definitely a market for Turkish drones… like African warlords who are warring every other month, but Erdo shouldn’t expect to sell to the world’s top 10 military powers.
