Well, my little minions, it was just announced that Australia has been developing Hyper-sonic Missiles that can be launched from land, sea and air for the past few years, and have been testing them in that time. Missiles with a speed of Mach 5.5

The project is a joint consortium between Australia, US and UK. Which also seems to suggest the AUKUS Sub deal was in the pipe many years before the French contract was cancelled.

These Missiles will be installed on Australian warships, and will be launch from RAAF Poseidon from this year. And there will be a Sub Launched variant as well. They will be fitted to the AUKUS Subs. They have even done dozens of tests at Woomera.

America has been developing this technology from the early 2000s - they just don't talk about it too much.

Sounds like it is in the developing stage by the Americans as suppose to in developed and ready to go stage. Big difference. Russia has already used them by all accounts. :wink:

AFAIUI Russia’s principle efforts have gone into the acquiring of an anti-ship capability. Developing and demonstrating is a very long way from full operational deployment of course.

GR’s (are we still allowed to say that?) exciting posts, suggesting Russia should obliterate the West with nuclear ones now, while it apparently has an edge, are total bollocks (are we still allowed to say that?).

Fundamentally, it’s yet A N Other bleedin’ arms race though.

Well according to this former Russian law maker living in Ukraine, they are.

Criminals like Pootin and Hitler always fall.

Russian forces are on the run. Running away like cowards from the Ukrainian military. Total disaster and dissaray.

It was said here, even before Russia invaded, that the Russians will lose. No lessons learned from the past where even a country with a population of 1 million, about the same size of Cyprus, defeated the Russian Army in 1996.

It seems the Russians are not a well drilled army. They are quite incompetent to say the least.

What we need to do is bring back the death penalty and start preparing for a trial, even in Absentia, for Pootin until the day he is captured and led to the gallows!

Pootin is most certainly just as evil as the worst of the worst nazi war criminals responsible for the holocaust.

It seems the Ukranians have not learnt as yet that all the defensive weapons they have bought from the west have not defended them at all and yet they are asking for more weapons that will not defend them.

In the meantime Putins and Lavrov's daughters are now being sanctioned. Interesting interpretation of freedom in the west.

But I gather the Ukranians are complaining that UN is not fit for purpose. Welcom to my world. Embargoed since 1963 and still going, The fact that they have no affect is neither here no there as far as GCs are concerned,

In the meantime not one word said about how US constantly vetos resolutions against Israel.
