Trig (Roger Lloyd-Pack) was a great actor and lovely man. I saw him on stage a few times when I lived in London. In reality about as far from Trigger as you could imagine. Sadly, he died in 2014. RIP.

When Turkey inavede Cyprus, there was a column of Turkish flags in most Australian cities as well.
But I can tell you for a fact that the general Australian consensus was not in favour of the Turkish invasion of Cyprus in 1974 and is still not in favour of the continued occupation.
These demonstrations either organized by Russians or Ukrainians don't mean anything other than the fact they just occur. In reality the average EU citizen was not in favor of any side before the war started.

Now with western propaganda hitting the roof the public opinion must have changed, and it will change again in mid April when the Russians will cut off the gas supply. Guess what kind of massive demonstrations we will be witnessing then.
Therer is propganada everyehere but as far as propaganda goes, Russia is at the pinnacle of it.
We have NOTHING in comparison other than a pluralistic media which does publish different viewpoints which is something not allowed in Russia.
The pluralistic media you talk about are just a handful of fully tied corporations from which thousands of other regurgitate. One has to break his back to find anything really independent. In Cyprus we have 7 local TV channels which all copy from the same sources. Same with our newspapers.
So we have no other option that to look for information on Russian media that get banned from the internet on a daily basis. And you'd be lucky to find out their new web address.
For example look at what presumably happened in Bucha. The Russian media were warning days ago that the Ukrainians were instructed by the British to bring about 300 corpses in areas where the Russians were withdrawing. And that's the exact number they brought and placed them so nicely and symmetrically on the streets one every 10 meters....
