Total disarmament of the National Guard - USA in Cyprus: Send TOR, BUK, T-80U, BMP-3 & Mi-35 to Ukraine!

That’s right… send billion’s worth of your hard labour to some shitstain on soviet territory because the US says so, and remain completely naked!

Good times eh?

I think you will find that a much bigger bounty awaits Cyprus such as the replacement of these arms with US variants such as the M1A1 if this story is true.

The Americans are probably telling Cyprus to do that because the Ukrainians are already trained on Russian equipment like the T-80.

And Cyprus will get its sweetners as well. US equipment and the abolishment of US arms embargo.

Send the “bigger bounty” FIRST and then we look at it!

That’s what smart politicians would demand, but we only have treasonous BOZOS in Cyprus.

I’ll wager NOTHING will ever come to find us if we’re dumb enough to gift our equipment to this shitstain and remain naked!

Send the equipment over first. I'm pretty friggin sure that for every T-80 Cyprus sends on probably the back of an American C-17, there will be 2 M1A1s dropped off.

And because you got yanky equipment, the arms embargo is history.

No way in friggin hell would the Americans just expect Cyprus to donate its equiopment for nothing in return.

The Australians cut a deal with Holland over the Bushmasters, and America was going to replace Polands Mig-29s with American aircraft.

Just ask and you will receive double what you give.

What do you mean send it first?

The US should completely lift the arms embargo they have placed on CY, then deliver the equivalent equipment or something better and then take the equipment they want from the arsenal.

You are not sure until you make sure.

What kind of general are you?

It’s all crap because even if US hardware were to arrive on the island right now, it would take at least a year’s worth of setup and training before the NG can retire all previous equipment and planning.

They better get moving then, because I dont see anything else being acceptable.

The existing weapons systems CY has are going to be difficult to service and keep operational in the long term so CY might just have to go with it.

But quite frankly, the US is two faced and they got a lot of front making such a request.

Cyprus has a defensive plan in place that is based on what we have and what we’ve trained for, so to replace all that and draw up a new defensive plan that now has to take into consideration that the Turks would have the same equipment and most likely have electronic/digital jamming/interference advantages due to NATO status, would be total suicide for us! US equipment are worthless for us against a NATO member.

How do you know that? Doesnt stop Turkey trying with Greece?

Then what if the existing equipment becomes obsolete (not serviceable, no supplies or parts available) because of the sanctions on Russia.

You are an idiot!

No one has given Ukraine anything or is expected to give Ukraine anything without nothing in return.

The Americans have a lot of equipment and will not rip the CNG. If the CNG sent these arms to Ukraine, then you can bet your bottom dollar the Americans will replace every piece and more.
