Many different actions could have prevented the war in Ukraine, it’s destruction and the sufferings of it’s people by the millions, and yes, Russia not invading would have been one of those said actions, but not the only one. I don’t know how that changes anything to what I wrote that the fears of the EU is that they will be left with in becoming a welfare nanny of the displaced millions of Ukrainians escaping the war as their country is being destroyed by a war that didn’t have to happen and as the war continues to become never ending for a long time.

Some of us on this forum are old enough to have first hand experience of wars in Cyprus in the 60’s and the 70’s and what it means to be displaced in your own country, therefore, comments made by some of the forum members shouldn’t be cast away lightly by some with sarcasm. More and more I am seeing Ukraine as being the sacrificial lamb by the west in order for the west to destroy Russia as much as possible for reasons we can only speculate. You cannot make an omelette without breaking few eggs as the saying goes, and Ukraine is now the broken eggs in this idiom.

Unless you are prepared to look at the whole picture of the Ukraine-Russia issues, your monolithic sarcastic comments on Russia’s role being the sole responsible party of what is happening in Ukraine over those posters who do try to see the whole picture regarding this war, your comments cannot be taken too seriously and neither does it make any constructive contribution to this thread.

This sounds very interesting.

https://www.msn.com/en-gb/news/world/china-accuses-the-us-of-being-the-instigator-of-russia-s-war-in-ukraine-at-eu-summit/ar-AAVKJyb?ocid=entnewsntp&cvid=8fe024259dbc470e81ecb0cf7c48284d

China has blamed the US as the “leading instigator” of Russia’s war against Ukraine, saying Beijing would not be forced to “choose a side” in the conflict.

Speaking at a virtual summit with EU leaders on Friday, Chinese Foreign Ministry spokesperson Zhao Lijian blamed the US for initiating the invasion.
“As the culprit and leading instigator of the Ukraine crisis, the US has led NATO to engage in five rounds of eastward expansion in the last two decades after 1999,” he said.

Well said but I think in time when the CIA releases all the secrets, we shall find out that it is not just a matter of sacrificial lamb, it is more like a bate to start the war so Russia's economic ties can be shut down and America taking them over.

Australian RAAF aircraft are entering Ukrainian Airspace and actually landing at Ukrainian Military bases.

A Globemaster aircraft will be arriving in Ukraine under very heavy Hornet or F-35 escort, to offload $25 million worth of Bushmaster APC vehicles to the Ukrainian military. This also means deployment of Air to Air refuelling.

Therefore, Russia does not have any control at all over Ukrainian skies.

What a laughing stock Pootin has become.

Russia is nothing but a whore now.

Face it bitches. Russia lost this big time. What a total stuff up. After this, it will be very difficult even taking Pootin seriously.

It's a dangerous move but you watch Pootin display his lack of balls and allow the Australian aircraft safe passage because he knows what happens if he does something stupid.

Now there's your shirtfront Pootin, you bitch.

If Russia confronts these Australian aircraft, then it's direct conflict with NATO. Australia is covered under Article 5 and the ANZUS Treaty.

But apart from about 2 weeks of high fuel prices, things are returning back towards normal, and the financial markets are booming once again. In other words, they are resilient, but Pootin isn't. If he subjects his population to this level of suffering, the Russian people will be after Pootin en-masse.

CF except YOU follow the news very well.
Now go ahead and follow the news yourself. Nobody ever advocated that America will pay any price for imposing sanctions. The ones who will pay the price is the EU and your Queen.

Fuck America is so good!

How can Pootin be so stupid?

America us by far the greatest nation on earth after Cyprus ofcourse. Without America the world would come to an end.
It doesn't mean nevertheless that America is always correct with its foreign policy. Unlike Russia which is a dictatorship America is a democracy. Those that hate America are losers, such as Lordo and the Criminal Psychopath.

You laugh because you are an idiot and do not even know what the purpose of these APCs are. It's to insert infantry and special forces quickly and to get them out. It's used by the SAS and Commando Regiments as well.

They have been sold to the British Army, Royal Marines, Japanese Defence Forces, Holland, Indonesia, South African Army and New Zealand Army.

It's in fact the Dutch ones Australia is sending to Ukraine, and Australia will replace the Dutch Bushmasters with new ones.

it's the ideal vehicle for Ukraine as these are highly mobile, fast and very agive vehicles designed to move infantry round and negotiate difficult off road terrain, snow and mud. They are literally perfect for sandy deserts, mud, snow and would be ideal for countries like Russia and Ukraine during their big thaw. Whilst the Russian Armour is mostly condemned to roads, these can go anywhere. And they have seen combat and are proven in Afghanistan, Iraq, Syria, and Timor War. You see one of these, chances are, it's SAS soldiers inside, and if that is the case, these guys don't muck around. They don't like taking prisoners neither we are told. They learned from the Japanese in WW2

Russia missed that vital bit of planning in their so called Special Military Piss Operation, thus condemning their armour to be sitting ducks on major roads and highways.

Australia also is sending Javelin Missiles. Again, it's fit for purpose in Ukraine, and it's causing major havoc and losses to the Russian Armour Parking Lots.

Not to mention the drones provided from US and Turkey. The American kamikaze drones are a big hit.
