...talking oil,

...Biden has a plan, oil companies resist.

..."use or lose" will be a strong motivator, and the oil from the war reserves used in the short term, are paid for by the land oil companies keep as leases.

Indeed, in one last hurrah, America may crush the price of oil if it is actually intending to go green, becoming for this short while the world's biggest oil producer.

While Putin's Russia has not felt the affects of such actions as of yet, like China's CCP, the isolation is not short lived without a change in their intentions; their clients, (the rest of us) (with or without them), having been disrupted are also adapting.

What a silly excuse. It's because of the increase of the interests rates he says... Forgetting that the main reason is the increase in demand!

Russia will view refusal of paying for gas in rubles as breach of contract
On March 31, the Russian President signed the decree stipulating acceptance of payments for gas in rubles

https://tass.com/economy/1430513

Watch the German and Austrian industrial machines grind to a halt!

Once the contracts are breached, if and when new contracts are signed again, Russia will most probably charge double for it’s gas to unfriendly countries and still demand for it to be paid in Rubles.

I think that is called “daylight robbery”, but hey, who is going to stop it when their choices are, gas or no gas!

Erm...the current Russian proposal is for payments on a fixed Exchange rate to be agreed. This exchange rate is usually based on some average over a certain period. I predict much shorter contracts, and yes within 1-2 years they will be paying double the price.

I 'd also bet the "unfriendly" nation of stupid RoC will be buying transshipments of Russian wheat from Egypt, whereas the occupied will as usual get everything much cheaper from "friendly" Turkey.
And then which stupid Anastasiades would ever stop ALL the GCs (compared to the current 30%) taking a short ride to the nearest gas station in the other part of Nicosia, to fill up their cars with cheap fuel?

Did you know there is the Russian equivalent of Youtube?
Problem is they haven't learned to add machine generated subtitles yet.
