Not only have these Ukrainian punks been piling up armaments and training from NATO since 2014, but they’ve had all their shit replenished over and over from like two dozen countries, during the course of the war even!

Two dozen countries can't keep up resupplying these guys and they just keep losing everything!

Look at all the shit they’ve been getting…

And that's after fighting against a mere 200,000 Russian troops at levels 1 or 2 max!

Give it up dudes... you're fucking hopeless!

There seems to be arguments going on here about who is winning and who is losing. I find these discussions strange at many levels and to significant degree. I see Russians losing their lives. I see Ukrainians losing theirs. Daily. I see people all over impacted by economic consequences. Russians. Ukrainians. Europeans. Americans. Potentially almost everyone, to a similar degree as 2008 and possibly worse because it is on the heals of 2008.

I am not saying I do not think there are no winners or losers. I am saying that I think using a binary model that has a singular winning side and singular losing side as a means to gain understanding of a situation like this is a dumb thing to do. It is just a shit model of reality and thus is unlikely to give much insight imo.

Speaking of winners. So often when I watch 'coverage' of this conflict I can not help but feel, at some level and to a material degree, that I am just watching some kind of demonstration at a global arms bazaar. Everyone is getting in on it, showing off their wares and looking for future orders. Hypersonic missiles, yep. Cheap military drones, yep. Hand held anti tank ordnance, yep. Shoulder launch anti air, yep. Mini drones, yep. More besides. Almost everyone has something on offer and to show off. Kerr ching.

GR as far as I can see you are heavily invested in using just such a binary model with which to try and understand what is going on and have declared that God their self is on your binary side. For me if I am to chose to believe in a God, then I would chose to believe in one who's greatest desire for us, their creation and children, would be that we would find a way to stop doing this kind of shit to each other with such tedious regularity. Not one that is cheering one side on against the other.

Do I think the Ukrainians are putting up a brave defence. At many levels and to material degrees I think they are but I think braver still would be to fight and die resisting aggression passively. That would be a form and degree of bravery that would get me to a binary model of the world, where I was entirely on one side.

Zelensky: “Guys, if you lend me all your armies, I promise you victory by 2042!”

Fine Print: Subject to same 200k Russians and military hardware not getting replenished.

Erol, it’s nice to be a “romantic” but…

The truth of the matter is that the entire West conspired against ONE nation, first by antagonizing it into war and then with a loud proclamation of GENOCIDE!

Did you not see or hear it?

If not, then you too I’m afraid are a hypocrite!

But feel free to stick around and defend your “romanticism” :)

Show me just one post of yours that's not either a joke, or a personal attack on someone's behavior (1), or a personal opinion based on brainwashing (2). May I remind you of your latest "it's a breach of.........." narrative? It's one thing to post a link for that, and another to accept it as the unquestionable truth. Paphitis is constantly on (2). As for Milti, yeah, I should start calling him the vinyl that got stuck on the "fuck off psycho" tune.

(1) You were doing this ever since RH was here!

Neither yourself nor GR are remotely interested in "useful information". You either ignore points made completely or come back with some way of trashing them, without actually addressing the issues raised. Why would anyone be interested in engaging with somebody with that attitude? Here it's evident in your "personal opinion based on brainwashing" insult. You're strong on stuff like "That would be a good measure for evaluating the degree of stupidity demonstrated in this forum." Then, just for a good larf, you couldn't even spell "breach" correctly.

Perhaps, if you considered the radical idea of treating people with a modicum of respect, rather than acting like apprentice bully boy to GR, you'd actually get some interesting discussions going. Meantime it's basically nearly all yourself and the great man doing a rolling football supporter's cheering act about a war which is costing the lives of quite likely tens of thousands and the homes of millions. Not to mention causing devastation to the world economy and quite probably future starvation among millions in the like of sub-Saharan Africa and SE Asia. It isn't some sort of game with hootin' and roarin' for a side and talk of bring on the carpet bombing. Moronic and infantile.

Milti's Milti. Having spoken to him though, and heard some of the disgusting things GR vomited out on the forum when the man's wife was dying and dead I can understand his feelings. GR's a "human being" who regularly talks in terms of a belief in God. Fundamentally though, as hypocritical as any ISIS religious fanatic and if there is a God I imagine he has something that will come as a complete surprise when GR drowns in his own phlegm from years of smokes.

I had a long history with RH. My view is that things said on the net should stay on the net. He had a different one and tried to cause me harm - always through third parties from behind the safety of a keyboard and up until not very long ago. Two good opportunities to put that right were wasted on the altar of having arguments about things which had no effect upon us nor that we could have any influence upon. Sad history.

Oh yeah, everything is Russia's fault no one else's.

But I just found there are professional mourners too, some of which are men.

Biden to provide additional $500 million in direct aid to Ukraine

The US government says it will dispatch ‘additional capabilities’ to help the Ukrainian military.

Keep it coming… you’ll all end up going bankrupt from this waste alone!

Look.

My post was in response to a couple of your insulting efforts and as an explanation of why it is (IMHO) that no interesting or in fact sensible discourse takes place on this forum. This thread consists mainly of rants (some very interesting psychotic ones in GR's case).

In response you cherry pick a single sentence where I pointed out the potentially devastating consequences of this war to people who are far away and really have no connection. To you and I it just amounts to paying a lot more for a loaf of bread, et al. Those people are going to starve. There was no accusation aimed at anyone particularly, although if you truly believe what's going on at present is the fault of anybody other than Vladimir Putin there's really no point in discussing it with you. Ipso facto.

So, get those Russian colours on and go back up in the stands with your rattle and scarf to cheer, hoot 'n' roar for your side along with GR.

I was just thinking, can any dots be connected with the Hunter Biden scandal and the state of affairs Ukraine has found itself in now.

How can the son of a US president, who knows nothing about gas, sit on the board of directors in a Ukrainian gas company and take payments for doing nothing?. :?

Now here we are, things go tits up and we are sanctioning Russian gas.

Its quite telling how MSNBC try to brush what Trump has to says under the carpet and smear him about something to do with a beauty pageant in Moscow years ago. Instead of tackling the issue of corruption related to Bidens administration.
