Reckon my common sense has served me just fine so far in life matey

You’re right, not necessarily. But in my case it has.

Nobody can make a compelling case RW from the cellar of his house.
You need FACTS from people on the ground, and I don't think he has any more facts than what we have, by just reading web-sites. As you know there's absolutely no accesses to Russian media, so we are all fed by western propaganda.

Yes, absolutely!

We are fed up with getting propaganda from the zillion Western news sources available. Why are we being denied access to the entirety of truth from Russian State run media? It’s a travesty.

I should qualify that, by adding - there’s no problem at all using Western sourced articles - if they suit our agenda of course. Just ask GR.

Nobody said the Russian sources are not propagandist. Now if you think you need your mummy to protect you from accessing evil Russian media, then that's your problem not ours. WE ADVOCATE FREE SPEECH. Any objection?

What is so strange is the fact that there are people who actually believe the myth that in the west we have free media.

It's between Russia and USA hiding behind Nato. Big difference.

Hungary, has consistently been the most EU-resistant member of the bloc forever challenging the EU’s foolhardy immigrant and decadent social policies, so I didn’t expect them to fall for the “Zelensky is our hero” insanity…

Hungary PM rejects Zelensky appeal for weapons and sanctions

Hungarian PM Viktor Orban has dismissed an appeal by Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky for weapons and tougher sanctions against Russia, saying it would be "against Hungary's interests".

Orban rejected Zelensky's demands at the European Council "because they are contrary to the interests of Hungary", Hungarian government spokesperson Zoltan Kovacs said in a statement.

"Hungary wants to stay out of this war, so it will not allow the transfer of arms and weapons to Ukraine," Kovacs said.

Orban says that the ethnic-Hungarian minority in the west of Ukraine would be threatened if Hungary sent weapons to Kyiv.

Hungary, an EU and Nato member, has refused to send military aid to Kyiv, or let it cross its territory. However, it has allowed more than half a million Ukrainian refugees to enter its territory.

Orban, a nationalist, has cultivated close ties with Russian President Vladimir Putin in recent years.

Zelensky used an address to EU leaders on Thursday to call on Orban to approve expanding sanctions, let weapons through to Ukraine, and cut off business ties with Russia.

"Listen, Viktor, do you know what's going on in Mariupol?" Zelensky said, referring to Ukraine's besieged south-eastern port city.

"Once and for all, you should decide who you are with," he said.

Err, I think he already did!

Every establishment needs the media to brainwash it's people. That includes the state controlled media in countries like Russia, China etc.
Problem is those go eventually get brainwashed beyond repair, become hostile to those who refuse to oblige. We have a good amount of those in this very forum. Paphitis is on top followed by LR

He 's absolutely convinced that the Russian double agent in London was poisoned by the Russian State.
He 's absolutely convinced that the Bio labs dealing with Chemical Weapons in Ukraine is a total lie. When asked why Victoria Nulan said "we are very concerned they would fall in the hands of Russians" he played deaf.

It’s strange but I never imagined 30-40 years ago that the communist USSR would at a future date evolve into our only hope for God-fearing family values and freedom, and that the entity that all along professed to uphold all things moral and all things free, would end up being exposed as the actual oppressor of mankind!

A complete reversal of roles… :?
