Putin , a man for whom I had some respect, has proven now that he is no different for Ivan the terrible and other Russian Czars who ruled Russia for hundreds of years and took pleasure in quartering their enemies. Thete is absolutely no justification for this brutal inhumane invasion of Ukraine any more than there was for the Turkish invasion of our beloved island. Only a psychopath as we have noted
Would support this barbaric invasion of a sovereign country and rejoice at the prospect of a nuclear attack from either site. I'm almost 76 years old, I have lived my life but my grandchildren only just begun life's journey. What I find particularly absurd is that those that believe in the scatological mythology of a creator are concerned only with their perceived enemy being knocked out.thouroughly sick people . The world needs PEACE NOT WAR.
That is the thinking process of NATO now.
But, at some point, the west will need to consider the riskier option, because if they do not, it's a blanket licence for Pootin to do this again and again. And there is a track record for this sort of thing.
It's obviously very sad, and no one wants to risk a nuclear war. But when these things happen, innocent people will be killed.
If the west takes the riskier option of a no fly zone, the west will be relying on the nuclear deterrance value. Unfortunately, there are no guarantees though when dealing with a lunatic. And I don't want to be nuked obviously. And not only that, but I don't want any Russian city to be nuked either. So we all don't want to see nuclear weapons being used.
