Oh, so now you are now BACKTRACKING and think he is NOT the dangerous crazy guy you initially painted!

Why did you LIE then in your initial post?

Were you sensationalizing?

Oh, I meant to say it's stabilized.

It's down to $4.30 a gallon now. It was $5.60 a week ago.

Paphitis wrote:Or will he nuke New York. Now, a reasonable leader will never consider such a thing. But we are not dealing with a reasinablke leader here, but a madman, only comparable to the worst of the worst humanity has ever seen.

If that’s what you seriously think of Putin, then why do you see fit in calling his bluff?

Does this not say anything about YOUR ENORMOUS STUPIDITY?

Pray tell us, why you support poking someone who is so insane and dangerous as you describe… :)

Look I know it's very hard for you, but Russia has lost. They are no superpower at all, that is a match for the US in any conventional warfare.

If you think they can be taken seriously after this disaster, then you are delusional.

They are just another Turkey with nukes.

You haven't answered the question Paphitis.

Pootin is a very evil leader.

As for the Russian people, I really do admire them and feel sorry for all they have to endure.

Pootin isn't calling any bluff. His actions are irrational. The west is walking on egg shells because it has no choice if you take the viewpoint of avoiding direct confrontaion and risking a dire escalation.

So on the one side, you really do have a madman, and on the other side you see an entire world trying to deal with this loose cannon.

You need to be thankful for that as well.

I agree, he seemed professionally savvy, was interesting on the economic aspects and it’s a pity he stopped posting.

IIRC he dropped out when GR started spouting religion. :(

What every decent human ought to be concerned with it's not who is winning this war but the likely prospect of a nuclear war which undoubtedly will destroy our planet.Think of all the innocent people, especially the most precious of all, little children. Putin , a man for whom I had some respect, has proven now that he is no different for Ivan the terrible and other Russian Czars who ruled Russia for hundreds of years and took pleasure in quartering their enemies. Thete is absolutely no justification for this brutal inhumane invasion of Ukraine any more than there was for the Turkish invasion of our beloved island. Only a psychopath as we have noted
Would support this barbaric invasion of a sovereign country and rejoice at the prospect of a nuclear attack from either site. I'm almost 76 years old, I have lived my life but my grandchildren only just begun life's journey. What I find particularly absurd is that those that believe in the scatological mythology of a creator are concerned only with their perceived enemy being knocked out.thouroughly sick people . The world needs PEACE NOT WAR.

You’re gonna have to make your mind up Paphitis, because you’re all over the place!

Is Putin a deranged and dangerous individual, or a toothless tiger? :)

Try to stick to ONE story this time....

You came in with guns a’blazing to tell us how dangerous Putin is and when I then challenged YOUR obvious stupidity in poking him, you quickly changed your story that he’s a toothless tiger!

Foolhardy much? Just like our baboons at the helm!

My point is proven.

That is the thinking process of NATO now.

But, at some point, the west will need to consider the riskier option, because if they do not, it's a blanket licence for Pootin to do this again and again. And there is a track record for this sort of thing.

It's obviously very sad, and no one wants to risk a nuclear war. But when these things happen, innocent people will be killed.

If the west takes the riskier option of a no fly zone, the west will be relying on the nuclear deterrance value. Unfortunately, there are no guarantees though when dealing with a lunatic. And I don't want to be nuked obviously. And not only that, but I don't want any Russian city to be nuked either. So we all don't want to see nuclear weapons being used.

I thank you for perfectly demonstrating your immaturity and irrationality, which is in perfect sync with the West’s leadership of baboons. :)
