An icon?? In what way?
That humans today got so alienated from other humans that live with cats and dogs?
That's a rotten society if you ask me, and I don't mean the society of Ukraine per se but all modern day societies.

We don’t know the lady’s circumstances of course.

It’s reasonable though I think to take the inference as being of somebody on the move with all their worldly possessions. In the context of what’s going on in Ukraine presently (lost among all the megaphonic propaganda) that strikes me as iconic.

Perhaps both yourself and GR are right though. It’s a rotten society in your case, which would be better vaporized (in the name of God apparently) in his. So we can start over. Albeit amidst the radioactive rubble, gangs of us killing each other for food. That would be a cause for global celebration it seems.

Let’s recap on what the West has recently done, because we seem to be fast asleep:

We have OPENLY campaigned for GENOCIDE against Russia...

...and even managed to garner the support of around 30 Western nations; I think pretty much all of them are complicit in this having jointly implemented significant steps towards this sinister goal.

This of course is nothing short of a declaration of war against Russia and we need to acknowledge and understand this.

And although you may label it as an “economic war” it does not restrict the warring parties from going military, because war is war after all and nobody can set the rules of war once it starts.

We have after all openly announced… “We aim to starve you to death, Russia!”…so our desirable result is a loud and crystal clear: DEATH TO RUSSIA… and I’m pretty sure that Russia gets it!

Common sense now goes...

“Once you have called upon my death then I have every right to defend myself with everything I’ve got to prevent it.”

Therefore in their defense, Russia now has every right to strike in whichever way they see fit including nuclear, and you’d better believe it.

The last lesson we may have to learn from this fallout other than our economic demise, is…

Don’t start a nuclear war armed only with sanctions!

I said from the beginning that Russia will NEVER lose even if it means our complete annihilation.

It’s important to understand what we’ve gotten ourselves into.

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Addendum:

The end-result of our foolishness will be one of two outcomes:

If this “open war” goes in Russia’s favor (my prediction) we’re going down financially pretty bad, and if it doesn’t pan out for Russia then we’re gonna get NUKED!

So either way we’re fucked!

You’ve got me there. :? You commented about “rotten society”. He clearly wants it wiped out. So we can go forward to the sunlit uplands under the benign leadership of Vladimir Putin and the Chinese Communist Party. More-or-less his exact words at various times. Certainly sentiments. What did I miss? :?

Imagine a Russian civilian plane flying over Europe ignoring their sanctions about their national "airspace" and some idiots shooting it down...
