Well, if those hypocrites in the EU are going to accuse us all the time, let's expose them for what they are.

that article is from september 2020

Oh shit... thanks Maximus... should've checked that. No wonder I couldn't cross-reference it with CY media.

This makes sense why Russia has concentrated most of the war in the South along the Black Sea. More and more, the mostly inactive Russian military close to Kiev is becoming a ruse to keep most of the Ukrainian military there to protect the capital while it tries to cut Ukraine completely off the Black Sea. I don’t even think Russia is going to stop fighting until all of Ukraine’s coastal waters are in Russian’s hands. That will give Russia access to almost half of the Black Sea and any and all hydrocarbons in it.

I hope the fools just sign the peace agreement asap and get their areas back because I personally don’t want to see them lose too much… we’ve got to think of the well-being of post-war Ukraine but unfortunately their government isn’t acting in their best interests. :(

A lot of Russia's demands are unreasonable and quite unacceptable in my opinion.

Do you think it is acceptable that Crimea and the Donbass region become Russian now?

It’s hard to say… I would need to study the history of Crimea in excruciating detail to decide.

As for the other two… ethnic minority problems… God help them all! (from our experience in CY)

Yep that's true.
On a side note, so far I got the impression the Russian airforce was almost absent. That's not true as revealed by NYT.
As you may notice the majority of Ukranian forces are actually concentrated outside of Donbas. The Russian plan seems to go to Dnipro encircle that, and then attack those forces from every side.

Notice there's similar reporting by the BBC. However I got sick of their biased and arbitrary conclusions.
I was pleasantly surprised by the neutrality of NYT.

While we are talking Crimea here is Crimean girl singing. It gives you an idea who may also lay claim to it too. She brought the panel to tears.

Yeah… Turks will hint at Tatars, Jews will hint at Ashkenazi, and Greeks will probably claim the lot!

Of course they are unacceptable! It's like saying "I will make you a deal you can't accept"
The Russians are just discussing to show they are nice.
They will never agree on anything.
It's a known Russian tactic.

Putin seems like a “once bitten twice shy” kind of guy…
