Curious, isn't it? Why has Russia demonstrated so little of its fire power in this war if it has it?

Two weeks on and the Ukraine has no air-force or air defenses left, so the little air power (80?) Russia had sent there appears to have achieved its objective of clearing the skies.

If however some foolish European country or coalition thereof, were to attempt something stupid over soviet territory it’ll take Russia about 10-15 minutes for the serious air power to reach the Ukrainian skies to confront the fools.

Russia’s arsenal is massive both in quality and quantity so the notion that such a European front will achieve a “no fly” zone over soviet territory, is very optimistic and extremely suicidal.

Do you know what America is gonna say to the EU if they do something stupid alone?

“We didn’t authorize this… you’re on your own!”

… because NATO is all about a unanimous voted decision or an American led decision, and not the initiative of the other individual members.

So the likes of Poland had better not initiate anything stupid thinking that the US will come to save them because Vlad may well end up nuking Warsaw, and the Yanks will then say…

“Tough titties Poland, we’re not gonna start WWIII just because you went in without permission!”.

The US and Russia seem to have a clear understanding of all these rules, but the credulous European baboons appear to be drunk in ignorance. Here’s hoping that they’ll give Uncle Sam a call before making any dumb moves.

...shock and awe, remember? This is not a war that will be won on the battle field with the sheer number of bombs, it is won in peoples' minds; on TV, and around the world: the world asks, who is Putin?

I am not thinking that, so far about 550 civilians have been killed but that number is not verifiable. No one really knows.

shock and awe is the american way of demolishing countries and creating untold numbers of civilian casualties and collateral damage.

The Russians are just pressing forward until they meet heavy resistance, then surround it and turn up the heat until the resistance surrenders.

Look at a live map of occupied territories, you will see how the Russian military is moving, encircling then connecting territories.

its like they are playing "go" not "spray and pray".

It’s flow of capital mate. It doesn’t work with what’s in the govts coffers. You need gov bonds, municipality bonds, infrastructure lending, private corporate debt, private equity, leveraged finance…without this you’re at a standstill. The system has shut them off. My firm is a regulated UK firm and it’s easier for us to touch North Korea right now than Russia.

You mean like the flow of capital we had in Cyprus before 2013 that we didn't know what to do and caused us all sorts of market distortions and bubbles?
Sorry mate but I'd prefer a slower economic advance than this.
And how's Russia's economy be on standstill?? They will still advance but at a lower pace. Plus more safe.
Do you remember the guy "Robin Hood" in this forum? He could have a nice discussion with you about all these.

This is his war, Putin's; he has taken personally the rejection he is suffering from his contemporaries for his deeds.

...so you are suggesting he is using his people like cannon fodder, he will spend billions on the Olympics, but he is too cheap to fight a war they way its done now-a-days?

...this is his excess inventory, and troops? No Pyr, to win this war he must demonstrate his power, real power. Those who 'believe' in power, or not, will ask, either way.

Without support, representing the People, he must control them. If it is not Love, it is Fear. Such is the life of a man like Putin, it seems. One hopes for better from such thinkers who capture the world's attention.

Don't post anymore videos you've already exceeded your quota for the day, and not to mention we don't care what some girl in Moscow has to say.

The only time we care about the Moscow girl is when she’s ready to pull out her titties.
