Excellent read. Looks like the tired old west makes a big comeback. Almost looks like Putin managed to take Russia out of the game and curtail China at the same time. If I didn’t know better this crisis could’ve been devised in a Washington board room. And no I don’t know better.
The man just tries to analyze various scenarios. The truth of the matter is that Russia surprises us every day. We know nothing of what they are planning. It's like a chess game which we can't follow. After reading about half of it I jumped to what he had to propose to China.
From the very first line I realized he is just clueless:
"1. China cannot be tied to Putin and needs to be cut off as soon as possible.
2. China should avoid playing both sides in the same boat, give up being neutral, and choose the mainstream position in the world.
What China should do is simple wait and see.
