This morning Russia blew up some NATO installations located in the west of Ukraine close to the Polish border, that were quite possibly involved in the transit of US/EU support and/or training and logistics.

It is (was) essentially the Ukraine’s only “lifeline” left, but no longer operable.

Putin warned them a day earlier… again they though he’s bluffing… again he made his move and blew them up.

Seems like a recurring theme… the West is led by complete buffoons with a foresight that can’t get past the nose.

The foolhardy Polish president started yapping about this act being reason to enforce a “no fly” zone!

Seriously, what makes you think you *can* Mr Poland… or maybe you want to see Warsaw turn into glass?

 It would be nice for a new type of skating… glass skating!

Just like the Taliban and N Vietnamese.

Zelenskyy is the leader of his people. The idea the current carnage is his responsibility, because he won’t surrender, is Orwellian absurdity. It’s a common mistake to believe that opinion on social media reflects the wider view. The man has established himself as a respected leader of a proud nation that’s fought determinedly against overwhelming odds. Standing much longer than the easy victory anticipated.

There’s no justification for what Putin’s doing in Ukraine and I suspect, sooner or later, it will prove his downfall. Which brings us to the subject of nuclear weapons.

Even the use of them purely in Ukraine would likely have devastating effects here. Ukraine is about 1500km away. Further than the N.African dust that regularly causes problems in Cyprus. Not to mention the food production disaster it would probably precipitate.

Only a mad man cornered would bring that about. Or, one sitting behind his keyboard eagerly promoting the idea,

No way imo he would use nuclear bombs. At worse he would use thermobaric bombs that have similar effect to small nukes.

I don’t know if the EU realizes that America left the building a long time ago, so they’d be wise to heed the last message Biden echoed which went something like...

“Well don’t look at me for I’m just the shit stirrer and my job is done, so I’m outta here!”

Well, a bit of laughing never hurt anyone.
There's a plaque of sorrow with this war - that we all agree should never happen- that if it really goes on for much longer, we will all need psychotherapy.

It’s very tempting to go independent for a region because they’ll have the automatic recognition of Russia (a UNSC permanent member) which is worth its weight in gold.

Evidence of schisms in towns... puppet mayors rising and falling at the realization of a new norm.

Like the females of a lion pride during a takeover, women are the best at adopting to change.

They care not for flags, guns, borders, or nationalism… but sheer survival!

Miss Gallina; in the picture above, has gone from shire councilor to Mayor overnight… and given the chance would happily start sleeping with a Russian General in the hope of making it all the way to a sovereign state and presidency!

If successful, she will see her meager Ukrainian income skyrocket to European levels under the new regime.

Btw did you notice that the biggest cities in the South east of Ukraine actually bear Greek names?

Sevastoupolis (In Crimea) Marioupolis, Melitopolis (Honey City?/Sweet city?), Odessa. This proves they were Greek cities... What made the Tsar include them in a slavic nation like Ukraine?

I don’t know, but seeing how Greece is treating their diaspora… their loyalty will now be with Russia.

Yeah, as the Beatles say a man has to break his back to earn his day of leisure.
Females are very good in siding with the strongest or the winner. They take the role of cheer leaders but when you lose they change sides.
Which makes me suspect Paphits who's obsessed with Nato and the Americans calling them
collectively "us" is along the same path.
