Now the US is going to negotiate with Venezuala to replace the Russian oil they just sanctioned.

The Man Who Sold Ukraine

1. Russia will prevail and Ukraine will lose.
2. Ukraine is going to be partitioned. Putin is going to create the buffer he needs to assure his country’s security.
3. Whoever governs the western part of Ukraine will be required to declare their “neutrality” (in writing) and reject any offers for NATO membership. If they violate that promise, they will be removed by force.

I'm hearing "partition" all day...

I always thought it's impossible for Russia to control 40M hostile population even if it captures the whole of Ukraine.
The situation is already a huge human tragedy considering Mariupol is only 400K population imagine what will happen when they would enter Kiev (3M population)
I foresee a long term instability to say the least, not only in Ukraine but within Russia as well.

Even before the fighting started, I believed the Russian strategy was to capture just half of Ukraine and divide the country into two parts, East & West. The Eastern part including Kiew would be in the Russians hand and occupied and the Western half will be in the hands of the Ukrainians. No doubt majority of the Ukrainians from the Eastern half would move to the Western part, which would become heavily dependent on the West to feed and house them in their own country. This will allow Russia to completely control the Eastern half of Ukraine with very little resistance from any underground fighters. So far looking at the war map, it seems to be playing out that way from the areas Russia has already taken and areas they are heading to. Once Russian military achieves this objectives, the Eastern part will be annexed by Russia for good.

Yes that's quite possible. I don't think there will ever be an agreement with the Ukrainian Government...
But ... Kikapu weren't you who predicted they would turn Ukraine into a federation of small districts?

Err, not me boss! :D

Indeed!!
Your prediction was always the same.

Unlike East Germany, Russia would allow Ukrainians on the eastern half of Ukraine to be transplanted to the unoccupied western half, and allow Russia supporting Ukrainians to move to the Eastern half, and then just like Crimea, annex the eastern half of Ukraine through a “democratic” vote.

At the end of the day, the Russian economy is smaller than the economy of the State of Texas. Or about the size of Spain.

In other words, Russia is a little minnow compared to America and can't trade or bank like the rest of the world can where as the West will continue to trade among themselves.

So you wouldn't want to be where Russia is now.

And on top of that, they have not taken a single Ukrainian city, and their casualties are mounting. Their military appears to be in total dissaray, with 8 of their Generals now sacked.

And their casualties will accelerate even more once they enter urban areas and need to face armed civilians, militia and the Ukrainian Military.

Meanwhile, Zalensky thanks the Russians for the new Tanks now belonging to the Ukrainian Army.

And in the outskirts of Kiev, the Ukrainian Military are getting plenty of target practice. :D

This has to go down as one of the biggest military failures in human history.

I think it's now time to start thinkingh about Russian Surrender.

RIP Pootin - you stuffed up big time. If you resign now, the Americans may be willing to give you a new identity and a retirement in Coral Bay, Cyprus among the other Russian Oligarchs and British retirees. 8)
