What a way to fight a war.

Both the Ukrs and the West convinced themselves, that the Russians would just run away by the sight of the first Leopard or the first Bradley, so they thought ammunition wouldn't matter. Isn't that what Uranian #1 was saying?

That’s because the collective West got used to “soft wars” with defenseless countries and have not faced a real war since Vietnam against a competent adversary. Actually, the West still has not faced a true war with Russia yet, but only a “ Special Military Operation”!

I don't feel sorry for this paranoid sniffer of cocaine, but I do feel sorry how he consumes the lives of his people. Currently the Ukrs suffer 250-750 losses per day!

On the other hand I do feel sorry for the childish mentality of all ex-Soviet block people, who got used to the idea that everything in this life is free. ZelenSKY himself suffers from this syndrome, demanding from everybody to give him free weapons, demanding Nato membership, demanding EU accession, demanding more sanctions for Russia etc. But even the previous President of Ukraine (what was his name? -the pro-Russia one) suffered from the same syndrome. He did follow the overwhelming demand of the Ukrs to join the EU (thinking they would get rich after joining), but eventually realized that would cost a lot of money. So he turned to Russia for financial assistance... Russia refused, and that was the start of his demise.

Why didn't they ask the Romanians or Bulgarians how rich they got after joining the EU? Salaries are the same as before, while prices of goods are the same as anywhere else in the EU...

Childish Ukrs even got convinced from rumors, that if their loved ones die in this war, the Americans will compensate them with $1M each!!

Even their channels/ Blogs covering this war, are full of childish lies, childish expectations, rumors and unrealistic dreams. :!:

This thread has ended up where I suggested it was destined on quite a few occasions.

A couple of people - 3 on a good day (I don't include Lordo, who I imagine is an embarrassment to most?) exchanging mutually agreeable opinions. RH would be horrified. Although - wait a minute - no!" It's OK, they are the "right" opinions.

Anyway, it seems - that's what you've worked for and wanted I guess and that's what you have.

Rather than prognosticating what the CF will/has become so that you can blow your own horn and pat yourself on the back, which you yourself helped big time for the forum to become that way, is that you have proved that you are a defeatist by not trying to counter others views by presenting convincing arguments to at least to have a challenging arguments from your side. Instead, you just repeat the same old mantra over and over again ignoring all other details provided on this forum which you never consider them to be viable or probable.

You could have been that one man (Henry Fonda) in the “12 Angry Men” who was able to convince the other 11 jurors to see it his way, for them to change their guilty votes to not guilty, instead, you do the opposite and complain that the other 11 jurors are not intelligent enough to know that they are wrong to vote guilty. You can still be “Henry Fonda” and challenge others points of view in a constructive way by presenting arguments which makes points to win arguments for yourself and for CF to remain interesting. The choice is yours, LR!

Imagine in real life you were among a company in which one group was like this:
cyprus47975-11180.html#p936030

How long would you afford to even listen to that group?
There has not been any deliberate driving the thread to any destiny. It's just how things work out naturally.
Despite of that, you are free to post any time you wish. However you cannot force anyone to spend his time with you.

..."news", what we need is for the dialog to revolve around what we can share as information; to inform each other.

...drama sells, too. so does thinking comprehensively. There are lots of threads that move along, or should, because they fit in a place called, "Cyprus Forum".

It is good we are split as we are amongst ourselves in a counter-intuitive kind of way; boring it would be otherwise, more boring i would say "English'' wot?

Enosis in the Ukraine and for the Ukrainian People. Enosis in Cyprus, and for the same reasons; 'we' (those of us that are Cypriots) can.
