I think it was more like 10 months.

It was once a city of 70,000 people. Nowadays, rubble. But I guess................ "They deserved it".

One person on here - let's not point fingers - said, totally straight faced, in that 10 months the Russians had lost 600. You can't really argue with that level of devotion.

Kikapu wrote:Two things constantly comes up regarding Zelensky’s and NATO’s wish list for Ukraine to make the hypothetical NATO membership.

Zelensky says that the war in Ukraine won’t be over until Crimea becomes part of Ukraine again.

NATO says that Ukraine cannot be member of NATO as long as the war continues in Ukraine, or better yet that, Ukraine has a decisive victory over Russia.

In layman’s terms, Ukraine can never become a NATO member given the above wishful thinking scenarios.

Too bad Nazi praising Zelensky and too bad Nazi praising Zelensky supported by the collective West, EU, NATO and private individuals, as some do on here, that their wishes will not come true, because, if it were to come true, it will be WWIII where millions will die.

Basically, it is very clear of what NATO (USA) wants and has wanted all along, to be in Crimea to use Sevastopol as it’s Black Sea Naval Base, a stone throw away from Greater Russia and continue it’s aggression against Russia for it to became another Yugoslavia story, and somehow, some people on here believe that should be acceptable to Russia.

The US doesn’t need Sevastopol.

There is no advantage for a US Battlegroup to be in Sevastopol when they are already in the East Mediterranean and have bases in Italy and Greece and also have access to Turkey, Bulgaria and Romania if they need to. And they probably don’t need to.

And even when Sevastopol is liberated, the Ruzzian Blavk see fleet has other bases in the Black Sea so it’s not as if it’s that much of a blow to Ruzzia.

Btw, the US 6th Fleet is actually in the Black Sea right now, and have been there since February. They are currently using Turkey as their base but their usual base is Naples and Souda.

Seriously. The Ruzzians lost 600? That’s what they lose in a single day.

You are correct. It is closer to 10 months.

And Ruzzia’s positions in Bakhmout could become undefendable in a matter of days from now.

All their supply routes are about to be cut.

For the Ukrainians it will be a decisive victory because those 10 months and 60000 casualties would be in vain.

Yes, Bakhmut, the carefully choreographed Mutiny, et al.

You have to look deeper, because, behind it all, there's always an incredibly clever, Machiavellian, (cunning) Russian plan. They never do "This has turned into a total shit fest. How the fuck can we get out of it?".

I’m very happy the improvised nuclear attack by Ruzzia against Ukraine and Europe/NATO did not eventuate and that the threat itself seems to have dissipated somewhat.

Merika, is in constant communication with fascist terrorist state Ruzzia and has no option but to tell these fascists over the red phone that any release of nuclear radiation over Europe will constitute a Nuclear attack against NATO and therefore require a Nuclear response from them.

However, we are not completely out of the woods. The Ruzzians have a death cult culture and are therefore, extremely insane.

Or a nice good will gesture when they retreat and run for their lives.

All part of Ruzzia’s plan. How come we could never figure it out?

I wouldn't get too triumphant. It looks like Biden's Anglophobia is about to result in somebody who, as German Defence Minister had the Bundeswehr running around in major NATO exercises using broom sticks as simulated guns, being made the next head of the organisation. :(
