Is that the same Shoigu who in September 2022 said that total Russian losses were 5937?

Shoigu, who prances around in a General's uniform but actually has no military experience at all?

Ahh - that Shoigu.

Nobody forces you to believe Shoigu?
I am sure you would bow to CNN though.
Tell me what significant losses means please. Also why is Ukraine is on silence mode?

https://edition.cnn.com/2023/06/08/poli ... index.html

On past pronouncements I take everything that Shoigu and his ministry announce with a considerable pinch of salt. The man, like Medvedev, is a Putin lickspittle.

I honestly can't recall ever watching, or even looking, at any CNN output. If you can find my quoting them I will bow to your efforts and eat my Donald Trump baseball hat.

I'm not sure what you mean by "silence mode". Other than the usual wartime military meaning perhaps?

No! No! Come on. If you're going to step into the great nutcase's shoes you have to get the terminology right. It's "criminal" not corrupt.

Ohh, wait a mo.......................................................   There, that makes the post so much more relevant (and adult)

The definition of obfuscating. What the heck is this man talking about? :o

You did not answer the question. What does significant losses mean?
In reality you never quote anything of essence, however CNN is a US controlled media, and while you were fast in discrediting Shoigu, I have not seen the same response from you regarding CNN.
Are you taking everything they say with a pinch of salt as well?

This is hard work. I can't recall ever reading anything - let alone quoting - material from CNN. What's your problem? :?

Shoigu is clearly a prat. The problem with being a dictator is it has an inbuilt tendency to result in your being surrounded by people who's principle aim - in order to survive - is to tell you exactly what you want to hear.

As far as "significant losses" goes. It seems to me that Putin has no such qualms. I agree though, the people of Ukraine have suffered significant losses. Much to your approval I suspect.

Oh I see. You never follow the CNN or any other Western MSM which are copies of each other, but you do follow Shoigu closely to conclude he is a prat. If you knew how ignorant you come across thinking "Putin-Putin-Putin" all the time... You are excused anyway, you are a drop in the ocean among the millions of western propaganda victims...

What CNN calls "significant loses" refers to military personnel and equipment. The same thing that Shoigu talked about. How did you miss that? You are not trying to slip away like a fish, are you?

You want to try one more time?

I'm always open to reasonable discussion. Although, there's been precious little of that between folk wrt this subject.

When you manage to rid yourself of the    attitude perhaps.

...indeed information, we need: to decide for ourselves' first of all as Individuals; what are the facts.

Choosing to express yourself as a Person is another matter; like the difference between Freedom, and Liberty: let's be clear.

...good one LR, if someone's keeping score 2 points.

...no offence Pyr, you are often informative and i like that. But, having/how you picked a "side", i do not see kindness or reason in that. I guess in that regard the difference between LR and me is that he is relentless, never allowing you to forget who ''you'' are politically speaking, it is not so personal for me. If my arguments were stronger i suppose, you would not be disagreeing with me; as it is my position is not "the other side" and not so easy to understand.

"Russians" if you ask me are bad, plain and simple, just like the "Ukrainians", no different to the "Turks" and the "Greeks" in Cyprus, the Problem, they base their notions of intolerance on Ignorance (Lest we Forget).

...for 'the rest of us', your readers, this stuff between the two of you is like candy, tasty treats, not a balanced diet, or the food for thought they are hungry for; do carry on, just saying.

RW you are not the only person in this forum, that has picked the wrong side for his own reasons. Imo your reasons are very simplistic and superficial, but so be it. I can live with that considering they are genuine and not hypocritical.

KYIV (Reuters) -Ukraine's domestic security service said on Friday it had intercepted a telephone call proving a Russian "sabotage group" blew up the Kakhovka hydroelectric station and dam in southern Ukraine.

Of course it was Russia .... if Kyivs SBU say so. There are those on here who are convinced of that already .... they won't need proof because it is all so obvious!

This is for LR to ridicule as being 'whataboutery' .......... it seems to be relevant to the above

Media: One Side "Says" - The Other "Provides No Evidence"

The recent reporting on the conflict in Ukraine in 'western' media has reveled a deceiving scheme in which baseless claims from Kiev are taken for granted while everything Moscow says, even when based on facts, is put into doubt.
