China itself has more industrial output than the US and EU combined!

Sticking my neck out here.

Do you truly believe that?

Absolutely. But I guess you are one of countless victims of the American Industrial Military complex advertisements. For a start watch the American media reporting the F35's breaking down every other day...

As for the latter, China's Industrial output 6,991B, USA's 4,169B, Germany's 1138, France's 492 you may check and sum up the rest of EU countries...

This link says US's manufacturing output -which is a different metric- is 2,497B but doesn't have any data for China.

Now do you honestly got convinced?

Ahh - the old "you are one of countless victims". I will leave it at that then.

Paphitis will be back in a week or so. :D

If you consider the statement in a broader sense it is probably true!

The sophistication in US military aircraft is extremely expensive. I read somewhere that the helmet alone for an F-35 pilot costs $500K. When the US sells these aircraft outside the US a lot of this does not come as part of the package, so the specified capability will be downgraded.

The Russian military aircraft are designed for rough airfields and for use where quite often there is no ground back-up. So rather than ‘fly-by-wire’ like US aircraft, the Russians are flown by ‘the seat-of-the-pants’ type pilots.

As I have said to Paphitis, once a modern pilot loses all the sophisticated electronics designed to take the load off the pilot and they are suddenly faced with blank screens and a lot of flashing warning lights …… they are ‘f*****d’! Pilots of Russian jets drop down to road level and fly by road signs and the Mk.1 eyeball.

Did you know only Russian helicopters are fitted with ejection seats for the crew …….and NO, they do not eject vertically into the rotors!

Greetings. Hope you and yours are OK.

I know from my own humble experience that a couple of F22 Raptors can enter a 200 square mile area and take out anything airborne, not transmitting at all in the process. Leaving, without anyone/thing realising they were ever there. F35s are even more efficient.

I was being polite. The idea the Russians can produce anything on a par- let alone vastly cheaper - is, frankly, absurd. It's an opinion of the devout.

I've always had a problem understanding why people with that sort of view have such self loathing they seem to want to exchange the culture that's nurtured their, quite rich, lives for something like that offered by Mr Putin. Or for that matter the Kim Dynasty? :?

Much of Chinese industrial capacity is based upon copying the west. Their current efforts are about 75% of the US. That, after their biggest customers and industrial immigrants have cottoned on to their intentions.

To put it frankly - they have had their heyday.

I suspect - once sleepy Joe Biden's gone - Hell's coming.

See what I mean? Total victim of commercial propaganda. Do you know any physical object/or man made machine flying in the air, that doesn't transmit ANYTHING??? Stealth technology is not total stealth as you think, the Russians also have "stealth" warplanes SU-34 at half the price, that don't break out every other day, and as far as I know there is already technology that can trace "stealth" planes, despite the fact that they just REDUCE (but never zero out) detectable physical and technical transmissions.

Yes. They're linked in to the tooth fairy.

But, as I've said before, several times. It's really pointless, trying to broach tbis subject. The discussion immediately reverts to a piss taking mode . Paphitis has tbe better approach I tbink.

The latest known F-35 crash, just because it was recorded by a civilian . Imagine how many were kept secret. Btw much of a "stealth" is all that deafening engine sound?? No instruments to detect it huh?

Here is LR claiming that he believes in peace and yet here he is claiming Americans make undetectable war planes.

First of all america has had more planes fall off the sky than any other country but it is always somebody else's fault. That includes warplanes as well as civilian.
Secondly here he is salivating over such power knowing that these planes are given to countries who use them against unarmed civilians. They themselves used them against unarmed civilians with napalm cluster bombs and agent orange munitions.

I mean an idiot normally recognizes his own idiocy and keeps his mouth shut rather than broadcast it for everyone to read.
