On another note we were sold the idea of Nuclear weapons claiming it would stop wars. Well it seems rather than stop wars, it seems to paralyse those who have them from confronting another nuclear power even when they are invading another country.

This took place for the last 40 odd years with one side or the other attacking a country without any fear of any kind. It was 99.999% America doing the attacking and murdering millions but who is counting.

What a wonderful world we live in.

We’ve known for 48 years that the UN isn’t functioning. 37% of Cyprus being illegally occupied by Turkey and many UN resolutions against the occupation and nothing. Not one refugee has returned and Turkey keeps occupying Cyprus ….

 Lordo, has only just figured it out...

Really so you reckon Cyprus problem started 37 years ago. Like hell it has.

What about the UN Resolution 186. How well did you accept and adhere to that UN decision you stupid itiotic excuses for human beings? Did you listen to the UN then? Did you hell. And hell is where to took us in the end you bastards. It took you till 20th of July 1974 to realise that UN existed and asked for help and what help did you asked for? You asked the Gurantor states to stop the coup by RoC and Greece stop it and if nothing else it certainly stopd it. It went further, it removed not only the murderer you put as President, it also removed the Junta from Greece. Talk of killing two birds with one stone.

So since 1974, how many times exactly did you actually agree to a peace deal? Sponsored by the UN no less.

I mean to call you two stupid is quite an insult to stupid people.

Do you support the "political equality" of the Russian Ukrainians and the illegal occupation of Eastern Ukraine?

you facking bastards?

Now What were you saying about Russian Ukranians again? Oh well it is not what I want, you should try to listen to what they want dear boy. What has what I want got to do with it. Try listening to those invo olved for a change and understand what is going on.

Who am I to pass judgement on them?

4300 Russians arrested in anti-war protests today. Police using batons and electric rods.

Reports of shelling and rocket attacks on civilians attempting to leave Mariupol under a so called "cease fire"

Number of refugees fleeing Ukraine estimated by UN at 1.5 million. The biggest war-induced evacuation since WW2.

Putin's infuriation at lack of progress results in adoption of Allepo and Grosny tactics. The obliteration of Ukranian cities and towns. Regardless of casualties.

German Green Party leader Robert Habeck, now economic minister, having spent entire political career opposing now draws up plans to reactivate coal-fired power stations and extend the life of Nuclear plants.

Nord stream 2 pipeline activation cancelled and staff sacked.

Germany pours money into new LNG plants and solar/wind energy generation.

Businesses carry out a fire sale, flooding out of Russia, resulting in a collapse of related shares across the world.

Russian stock exchange shut for a week, to avoid headlines showing its total collapse.

Rouble loses 30% of value ....................so far.

Russians who can find a way of leaving the country unable to access bank accounts or use credit/debit cards.

Russian crude oil trading at a discount of up to $20 per barrel - if you find anyone who can import it.

EU plans for a 30% reduction in use of Russian gas within 12 months. The country now being regarded as an unreliable supplier.

Russia not having done anything to diversify their economy from high reliance on income from fossil fuels, and with an ageing population, expected to lose 7% of GDP (EU 30%). Adding another decade to it's already 10 year economic stagnation.

So, tell me, how has Putin's invasion of Ukraine worked out so far? And what of the future for ordinary Russians?

Question. If Napoleon and Hitler had possessed nuclear weapons, do you think they would have used them when they saw their end coming?

Be afraid people. Dictators.
