Nope. As with other aspects of this invasion (sorry "Special military operation") events aren't turning out quite as expected. Mr Putin has blundered, big time, and the eventual consequences for Russia will be very negative.

Which leads to the concern of how he'll deal with them. What's his mental state and what's it going to be? That's the trouble with dictators. Absolute power and all that.

Not a problem for you of course. As you've indicated on several occasions you're hopeful of, even gleefully looking forward to, the employment of nuclear weapons. That'll teach 'em!

Yes, apparently everyone in the West has become an expert on what Russia expected... :)

Pretty obvious things have not gone as expected or according to plan.

Yeah well like I said… some of you were privy to the plan and are able to follow through! :)

You’ve got the entire battle plan which you bought from a 24hour kiosk and are able to pinpoint to all the bits that went wrong.

Cool story bro... 8)

Ok sure! I suppose the running out of fuel was all part of Pootin's cunning plan.

As a comparison…

It took the useless Americans 1.5 months to overrun Panama, an impoverished shithole the size of Crimea with just 2.5 million people, and with the military strength of Cyprus!

The Russians have smashed the living daylights out of a 45-million strong country the size of Turkey and they’ve only just moved into the second week!

It’s never been done before… it’s as simple as that.

They’ve also smashed the world record for minimum number of civilian deaths!

And the best part… they did it all with kid-gloves!

In Syria, the Russians vaporized around 200,000 US-backed sand monkeys that were previously running rampant and declaring jihad after jihad… until Putin landed in astronomical timing and gave them his own version of a jihad!

And as if by magic… all the sand monkeys vanished and there were no more calls for a jihad… and nobody else wanted to go there to fight anymore!

So what happened fellas? Anyone wrote his memoirs?

In Georgia… 2008, Russia smashed everything the Georgians had in about 12 days… nothing to be said here other than a humiliating defeat for Georgia.

The Russians are nasty... there's no question about it.

On another note we were sold the idea of Nuclear weapons claiming it would stop wars. Well it seems rather than stop wars, it seems to paralyse those who have them from confronting another nuclear power even when they are invading another country.

This took place for the last 40 odd years with one side or the other attacking a country without any fear of any kind. It was 99.999% America doing the attacking and murdering millions but who is counting.

What a wonderful world we live in.

We’ve known for 48 years that the UN isn’t functioning. 37% of Cyprus being illegally occupied by Turkey and many UN resolutions against the occupation and nothing. Not one refugee has returned and Turkey keeps occupying Cyprus ….
