Cyprus used to be a proud, hard working people that had a unique identity and enjoyed a healthy economy but EU membership has stripped us of our wealth and culture and turned us into handout-begging zombies.

The only things that have proliferated as a result of EU membership are drugs, crime, asylum seekers, laziness, bastardization, reliance on others, and a loss of who we are.

Cyprus ain’t what it used to be… our daily lives are dictated by EU technocrats we know nothing about… people we never see… it makes me wonder why we even bother electing a government!

What’s the use of these puppets draining the economy with their high salaries if the orders come from Brussels?

So what's so great about EU membership? The fact that we are not in the same economic situation as Lebanon is today. Because that's where we would be today outside of the EU.
