What is this another fairy tale, i must confess my admiration of your struggles to believe what you have created as the fiction

Hilmi Ozkök is commander in Cheif of Turkish army and yes is part of security council with all other government members under the leadership of Ahmet Necdet Sezer...

If Turkey is governed by him, Do u think he would accept to put in practise all the Eu craps, "he once announced with the new laws lack of prevention against terorist activities took shape"

Po po po!

akiner,

You mean to tell me that a hypothetical proposal by Ankara to withdraw Turkish troops would not be political suicide? Of course people are going to listen to what the national security council says. However in the context of the Turkey EU prospect, Ozkok's statements are anachronistic.

True, the National Secruity Council is now a think tank, so maybe the traditional coup is unlikely, but their political influence is nothing to be snuffed at.

Venizelist, as Hellenes, we have a tradition of encouraging dissent. Please remember this.

Also let's remember that it was Venizelos who nominated Ataturk for the Nobel Prize.

And we thought that it was only Turks who adored him!

Ne mutlu! La vie est belle.

Yes as a proud Venizelist I know that and I think it was very great of him to do this. Venizelos and Attaturk became very respectful towards each other after the war instead of having a grudge on each other for years like other politicians would do.

venizelist, as much as i admire venizelos, as much i dont like this comment you made.
we have links with greece that there are no need to brake.
but YOU, are not in a position to tell cypriots what they should feel or not.
some do feel greeks, and i do not have problem with that, so long they are not stuck, in 2006, to ideas that brought the division to this island i.e. enosis
plus i met, a number of greeks who didnot feel insulted when i say i am cypriot.
and as for the "rather call yourself a gypsy" allow me to say that it is simply a racist comment.

He has insulted the Cypriot system countless amount of times and even compared the Cypriot government which many Cypriots died to make to some small American state governor. Howevor since many of you don't like my oppinion then fine let him call himself a Cypriot or a Greek or whatever.
