You need to apply the scientific logic. Keep your windowes open, wear masks and keep your distance to 2 mters. Where does it say you cannot be in the same room with your loved ones.

Last year whilst we were locked up the fuckin politicians were having a whale of a time. Not this year.

We will apply the scientific rules and be safe.

I may add that we are fully vaccinated too.

Anyway time to prepare the table, and get ready to liste to the speech of the old parasite, ohps I mean the queen of all claiments from the government and she is not even looking for work or attending a meeting at the old dwp.

So here I am wasting my time in Cyprus forum.

My brother and his wife were invited to have Christmas dinner at his daughters house in London today, but last night his son in law and 16 year old grand daughter tested positive, so dinner was out for tonight. Then today, his 8 year old grandson also tested positive. Only his daughter has tested negative. Both his daughter and son in law have already both the vaccinations, but not the grand children.

So, tonight my brother and sister in law are going to a restaurant instead and then drive to central London to watch all the Christmas light decorations. :D

Oh by the way, the lamb turned out very good, melting in my mouth. It was in the oven for about 6 hours. :D

This is why it does not make sense. You can go to a restaurant but you cannot observe social distancing at home. As Bozo called it, you can use your good old British Common Sense and you will be fine.

...for the phone call, me too, waiting. A nice dinner I'm sure, but we won't be sitting together to eat it; i will be picking it up to eat alone.

Merry Christmas to all of you just the same; this COVID thing is annoying.

Corona update.

My brother’s daughter ( my niece) has now also turned Covid positive, so ALL 4 members of the same family members are now Covid positive on Christmas Day.

This mutation is infecting over 100,000 people a day. Sooner or later somebody we know will get infected. My oldest son got too but so fat minor negative things. It feels like a cold with no need for any medication except the old honey and lemon hot drink and mint tea seems to give comfort.

We may well be finally over it and its effect is much reduced hospitalisation. I was thinking of saying thank gawd for that except we have notning to thank the old goat for. Mankind with the help of our NHS has done its best despite the bastard politicians who managed to kill 150,000 people with what looks like deliberate action to kill the sick and old. What else do you call releasing people without being tested to carehomes.

Very few people know the time lamb needs in the over Kikapu. Yep, 6 hours at very low heat that's it!!
I bought 6 Kg of lamb for today's souvla. Yep if you are going to make souvla do it with the best meat, not pork and nonsense. It's still in the fridge...

Lordo, yes common sense is it's all needed. Wife is still a bit confused, was surprised to hear me telling her to get out today. I opened all windows and doors, let the house get fresh air. Don't see the problem of her getting outside in the garden get some sun and fresh air. She really enjoyed it although it was a bit cold.

RW maybe next year bro, don't get disappointed..

I would have cooked the souvla and done a take away service. They can come an pick it up from the front garden.
At least the food would have been enjoyed.

...i am quite full, three helpings; unconventional, from the kitchen to the car, and to the table. But, it was very, very good, and just the same, warmly appreciated. All in all a happy day, one for the books.

...cheers!!, again.

Well here we are in Boxin Day and half the turkey in the frindge. It will have to transformed into something else today and a bit of soup too. And then we can have the lamb souvla tomorrow. I did do Turkey souvla one year, I liked it but the children said no. No more. Our household is a democratic one.
