Close the gates because of bird flue?

How can we solve it? (keep it civilized)

Postby Piratis » Tue Jan 31, 2006 3:51 pm

The point is that the even if there is 1 chance in a million that the gate openings can help the spread of the decease then the gates should be closed since they offer no benefit to us anyways.

All you "experts" should remember that not even the real experts know if/when this virus will be mutated to one that can be transmitted from human to human.

virus is not spreading unless u r in close contact with a diseased migrant bird or chicken or any related products . it doesnt spread human to human like ordinary flu .

so dont buy any products from TRNC and you will be fine

It just amazes me!!! All the fuss about the bird flu in Northern Cyprus.
We have so many migrating birds flying all over it was bound to happen. It happened in the North. Why blame it on the TCs?

We can not even agree on something as basics as a natural cause and we are putting blame to where we should not, how will we EVER come up to a solution of the Cyprus Problem?

The Bird flu is in Cypus. A TINY country.

lets close the gates of cyprus to world and u live there happly ever after ... 1 chance in a million????anything has a possiblity of happenning 1 chance in a million .but if your purpose is closing gates ,anything can be a reasonable excuse ...

and expert says it is not transmitted to human to human but yeah ...just in case ''it might''

ı am sure'' HIV '' is killing more people eachyear then birdflu ..u better control every possible person at the gates before letting them in ..
