If this effort has been carefully organised, it will demonstrate that the Labour Unions in Cyprus can improve the quality of labour and the quality of work. Big business, hoteliers, developers, and manufacturers, need unionised labour as a matter of fact, provided that Unions are a force which provides workers well skilled as a factor of production.
...a big step for Cypriots; they just don't know it yet.
Spot on RW. 8000 people joining a GC Union and no threats from the fascists.
Of course the other 2000 TC that are working in the South have no Union membership.
My friend works in the south and lives there too and yet he is not allowed to join the teachers union on account that only GC can join it.
