Read what I posted again boy. Do I need to spell it out for you?
There is a major difference.

The last time this was the case, was it not also the case that those trying to foster such co operation were themselves attacked by elements within their own respective communities ?
Yep, people were killed for this or made to run away to exile to save their lives.

(SEK may be PEO but I am not sure). It was also mentioned to me that the union has more power placing workers in jobs than the government. How that works perhaps somebody can explain.
It will be mainly Tourism (65%), Restaurant and Construction workers.
I think this is the first time there is cross membership between the communities.

Have you got something new to add.
Tc's have had the right to work in the RoC for yonks, so I dont see what is new about this.

Maybe three is the lucky charm.
It comes to mind AKEL's venture, in getting elected a Turkish Cypriot as an MEP.
...at some point, the People, those Cypriot, will identify their own distinctions when compared to those who see themselves divided as "Greeks" and "Turks".
...at some point they will choose willful acts to demonstrate the distinction, as Cypriots, gathering.
...let's not forget that what the "Greeks" and "Turks" will have you ignore, is that their so called few and insignificant body they deride called Cypriots as non-existent, actually represent more than half the voting population (still), now decades and unnaturally divided.
Workers, all workers stand to gain as union members from this perspective, standing together; so too Cypriots, and for their Individual Rights.
...this (too) is one of those moments where, as Cypriots, Cypriots speak.

Out of nowhere, I'm seeing 8000 x €30 = €240,000 going into the syndicate's kitty!
