This site here has some models:
https://www.carbuyer.co.uk/reviews/reco ... el-economy

Also Renault built a prototype that consumes 1L/100 Km.
https://www.renaultgroup.com/en/news-on ... er-100-km/

NB. I now envy my neighbor who bought a Skoda Octavia.. He told me it was extremely economical and I didn't believe him.

It appears this article is talking shit because according to Skoda their lowest OCTAVIA is 93g/km (scroll to the center of this page to find “AVAILABLE ENGINES”)

https://www.skoda.com.cy/models/new-octavia/octavia

The FABIA which is the smallest Skoda, is even worse at 103g/km …

It looks like mission impossible, if you ask me... :?

Mission not impossible if you get in contact with the dealer and pay a hell lot of money to get one of these. Did you really believe the Gvnt would pay you 7.5K to buy a new car at about 17K??  :o

...The flagship Octavia iV is the most economical model managing 182-283mpg with CO2 emissions of 22-33g/km

https://www.autoexpress.co.uk/skoda/oct ... 021-review

...the Audi A3 TFSI e is good for 41 miles of electric range and fuel economy of up to 282.5mpg.

That looks like a special Octavia that costs £33K or €40K!

This is not looking good Pyro... there may be some rare models out there that can achieve such specs, but it appears they cost a fortune and probably not even readily available in CY!

Yeah, I’m starting to feel pretty deceived by the minister of transport… I think a nice email to let him know what I think of him, is in order!

In another thread you recently said...

“We are losing the art of conversation and enetrtaining our families by way of communicating.”

I can now see what you mean... if you cannot get past your fascination with donkeys the art of conversation can no longer be considered an art. :?

...some where on youtube i saw a citroen, a micro car electric; by the looks of it, it might fit the bill.

For city driving only though, it does not reach the speeds needed for a highway.

We don’t have the infrastructure for electric cars in CY, so what kind of gimmick-subsidy is this?

If it wasn't because of the LHS steering wheel, I wouldn't think twice about taking my EV to Cyprus. Range is 420 km, battery capacity 72kWh which could easily be loaded at home every night. I really don't see the problem

I have no idea mate… I haven’t even seen an electric car on the roads here in CY! So can you plug it into your mains at home or did you have to get some kind of transformer first?
