If you think life is hard, have a look at this film. It gives you a good idea how life is in some parts of the world.

They advanced a lot. Imo quality film making declines in holiwood and advances elsewhere, no wonder how "Parasite" a North Korean film smashed the oscars in 2019. French films still rank very high, but I found it surprising how many top quality films come up from the east including middle east. Out of the top of my head I would reccomend "a separation"-Persian, All the films of the director of "taxi tehran" and from Turkey "babam ve oglum", and "winter sleep".

Parasite is a South Korean film.
Oops yes, I just lost orientation.
You know, the extremely advance South Korea with a massive automobile industry and which is one of the richest and most advance economies in the world? Henceforth, able to spend big money to make big budget films. If you think Tim pot North Korea can do anything like that when most of the population can’t even access the internet, then you are in la la land. Mmm, another great Hollywood title…
Bit still, the Hollywood film industry is by far the biggest in the world. The only country that comes close is India with its massive market and Bollywood.
But still Hollywood is in a league of its own. Why? Because that’s where the money is. That is where the best actors go and are, and they have the biggest market by far as English speakers meaning that they have a market of 3.5 billion English speakers globally.
No one can compete with that.
Turkish TV, and I won’t beat around the bush here, Greek movies as well are generally speaking total horseshit.
No one can top Hollywood. Hence why all the best entertainers, comedians, actors go to America generally and more specifically tend to congregate in LA. And for theatre, Broadway is by far also where you go to find the best shows, cabarets and musicals. Sure, there are great shows all over the world, but Broadway (NYC) is where the big lights are and as Sinatra says, there is no place like New York. You make it there, you make it anywhere. That applies to this day.
You missed the point. QUALITY.

You all watch American film everyday as it is on your TV channels, you all search their movies on the internet, through YouTube, Netflix, Disney Channel and HBO.
Speak for yourself. I wouldn't watch American trash even if you 'd pay me.
From the last 40 movies I watched there's only one Australian, "Charlies Country" that was worth watching and one British "I, Daniel Blake". The last American quality film that I watched was "brokeback mountain" but thatwas 15 years ago. Can you providea list of quality American films for the last 10 years?
As such, America has the biggest influence on your youth, not just in Cyprus but everywhere and in all 4 corners. Hence why our youth wear NBA guernseys, and wear baseball caps back to front. That’s Americanisation by stealth.
Are you going to advertise us the American sub-culture now?
And it’s not just in Cyprus. It’s throughout the EU. Even Eastern European states like Russia. Everyone wears an American flag or Reebok sneakers. It’s because wherever you are, you turn on the TV, and chances are there is an American movie on the screen. Even in countries where there is no English. There is an American film on tv, with subtitles. That’s wherever you are and wherever you go. From Saudi Arabia, to China. Russia to Sudan. Cyprus, to Greece.
It’s everywhere.
They have so much influence on our psyche, our kids in Australia, who use to spell the Queen’s English, now spell like Americans. It’s infiltrated our schools. And our education system will not mark incorrectly if someone uses US standard spelling.
And it starts from a very young age. What are the cartoons we all watched? We all grew up on Disney, Bugs Bunny, Popeye, Flintstones, Sesame Street and so on.
Whether you like it or not. American pop culture is all around us and virtually in every country. And with social media, it’s even more so all around us. It’s impossible to get away from it.
Even to this day, with The Simpsons, and Family Guy, the Americans are in our brains each hour of every day we are awake. From when we turn on the TV, or Radio, or go into social media, which they control.
Not just that, but America is on every device we have, whether it’s Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, YouTube, or the smart phone we have or the computer we have - Windows or IOS.
So Pyro, pull out the American Flag and put it on your porch dude. America has invaded your brain whether you like it or not and it’s winning the pop culture war whether you like it not.
I wrote this post through an American device that has an IOS American operating system, was probably made in China, using Australian resources.
So choose your poison. Gates, Steve Jobs, or Zuckerberg. Or perhaps you want to buy a Tesla or go to space with Elon Musk or Bezos.
