...sadly, the Heroes that are this topic's subject have already been dismissed, ignored and forgotten. Sadly the Heroes of "Greekness", and "Turkishness" continues as the norm.

Indeed it appears as though Max may have bought into "Their" narrative be it "Turkish" or "Greek" (just the same). It's as though Cypriots don't count and that they don't exist until "They" get round to defining what this word may mean.

(Regretfully, dear friend, i am apt to say, you take "sides" just like Max; you are still fighting each other as a "Greek" and as a "Turk".)

...i get your point though, Lordo, let's reason, let's not exaggerate.

There was anoth incident in 1964 where a man and a friend went out of their enclave to buy milk for a vhild and never returned. About a year or so ago they were dug burried with their car.

Some people are very cruel.

The hell are you talking about you plonker

The northern part of Cyprus was very much more valuable than the southern part of the island at that time.

we are not just talking about the quantity of property that was gained by the TC's off the back of the GC's.

Furthermore, your point is really quite irrelevant in the grand scheme of things.

You are like; arguing whether the TC's stole 6x more than what they left behind, instead of an exaggerated 20x. As if thats better..... :? blooming idiot.

Waste of time, put the dummy back in your mouth and go to bed will you.

I don't take sides. There is only one side and that is the Cypriot side. Why exaggerate simple well know figures. We do have fanatics within each community and we have to call them out.

When did I ever say a single compimentary word about Dengtashm Eroglu or Tatar?

Here's the data for the ignorant one:
Note the TCs owned 9.7% of Cyprus' land in the now free areas compared to 16.2% in the now occupied areas. Therefore in reality the TCs left behind only 1/3rd of their total properties.
Secondly 70% of all economic activity in 1974 was at the now occupied areas. Larnaca, limassol and Paphos were nothing then. Hence the price of land in the now occupied areas was the most expensive
Thirdly I was talking for 1974 prices.
How much was the selling price of your agricultural land at Softalar Lordo in 1974? 10-20 CYP per donum? (about 20-40 Euros)
Today it ranges from 10K to 35K (Euros) per donum depending how far away is from the sea.

The data is right in front of you.Do the calculations and tell me if it's not exactly as I said.
5 times less in area, 20 times less in value.
