Every sensible GC returning would like to know in advance who is going to provide him amenities, to whom they are going to pay taxes, and whether they would have direct access to the free areas or not. Or else we would end with another 35,000 enclaved.
No such details were given...

More bullshit. It was going to be under UN administration. I wonder which bit did you not understand, the word "UN" or the word "Administration"? I gues there was no point to say yes and find out what the actualplan was, it is far better to reject it. Excellent idea.

However, "If Denktash wants a solution," Kyprianou said, "let him present a plan in which Varosha would be left in the hands of the Cyprus government". So rather than allow 35,000 people be allowed to go back to their properties they decided to reject it. And here we are 2021 and still wating and of course the wholeMarash will have to be built now when then there would have been minimum investement to bring back the properties back to life.

I dont understand why Varosha needs to be turned over to anyone other than the RoC in order to allow 35k people to return to their homes.

Same with the Northern occupied part in order to allow 200k people to return to their homes.

Its return should come with compensation to rebuild it too.

Lordo, you shameful Marxist,

Varosha is a disgrace to Turkey and your community.

What was that you were saying about RoC passports?

It seems you do not understand a lot things dear boy,. Now bummy back in and go to sleep. Once you grow, start looking at the real Cyprus history and begin from sate 26th of May 1960. Yes even before the parliament sat and then we can have a reasonable discussion, in the mean time bugger off.
