The Taliban are untrustworthy as well.

But the Dems cant blame Trump for this.

Biden is responsible for the withdrawal as it is happening while he is commander in chief.

You cannot place blame on Biden since the outcome was destined to happen the way it did no matter who the president was. Why didn’t Trump pull our troops out during his watch? Oh, let me guess, because he didn’t want the same to happen to him on his watch.

If that is the case then you can not blame Trump either

Trump would have pulled them out if he was re-elected but there is no point in speculating what he would have done. he is not commander in chief.

Ultimately, I think the afghans are responsible.

But Biden has also screwed up.

The only reason Trump gets mentioned is because he and his supporters wants to blame Biden. If they keep their mouth shut he won’t be mentioned. It is very disingenuous to say it is all Biden’s fault because he is the commander in chief. It is typical outcome when the US makes a quick retreat.

In any case, back in 1983, when the yanks landed in Beirut, they got attacked and 241 US soldier got killed in one explosion. The then President went on and won the next election.

That is how it was for the years Trump was President.

All you need now are the proud boys or some shit like that accosting people in the street for supporting Biden and it will be like a deja vu.

Like I said, the Afghani's are responsible for their civil conduct and internal affairs.

The allies cant stay indefinitely to keep their shit together.

But Biden has botched the exit, no doubts in my mind.

People are calling for him to be impeached.

Karma is a bitch isnt it. :?

Bidens presidency will be remembered as a state of crisis,

His government will blunder from one fault to the next,

Then Americans will be voting for Trump to save america.

Just watch the train wreck, its unfolding......

Mr Biden is just following on from what his immediate predecessor started.

I doubt the situation we are now seeing would have been better under trump, probably worse, and boy was trump brown-toungneing the taliban as has has done with so many who were inimical to the USA...

That is very good question STUD.

Let me see if I can provide a satisfactory answer for you.

The (Trump's) deal was that the US would withdraw from Afghanistan by the 1st of May.

IF

The Taliban negotiated a peace agreement with the Afghan government and IF they promised to prevented terrorist groups from using the country as a base.

We are now in August under Bidens watch.

Were or are both these conditions true?

I dont thinks so.

Then why did Biden withdraw from the country in August?

According to reports, Trump negotiated with the Taliban directly without the Afghan government reps being in the room, so we don’t know what Trump really agreed to since he lies all the time. Another report stated that Trump destroyed most of the documents on those Afghans who were meant to leave when we pulled out, so now we don’t have clarity who is meant to leave because almost all the Afghans wants to leave.

Trump would have done the same to the Afghans who had helped us in Afghanistan as he did to the YPG Kurds in Syria, who left them at the mercy of Erdogan. Trump is a cold motherfucker and would have left his own mother behind, just as he left his legal team behind to fend for themselves now who had pushed his big lie on the election. Paphitis is delusional if he thinks Trump would have send Troops back into Afghanistan because of the recent attack by ISIS. Afghanistan was a mess before we got there and it is going to be a mess while we leave and a mess after we leave. That’s how it ends when we go to places we have no business going to in the first place. I understand all the political grandstanding by the Banana Republicans which is all part of the blame game. Welcome to American politics.

Yes as Nax mentioned. The deal was in the table from Trump for a negotiated peace settlement where the Taliban would actually (ideally) join the Afghan Government and participate in Afghan society in a peaceful and constructive manner and where Afghanistan would be free from terrorism activities.

The sweetener for Afghans was the withdrawal of coalition troops.

It was definitely worth a try from the Americans.

You got to bear in mind that the coalition mission was the destruction of Al Qaeda and preventive Afghanistan from being a terrorist base.

None of the conditions that the Americans wanted under Trump have been met.

So would have Trump withdrawn from Afghanistan. Well that would have been unlikely. And if he did withdraw, can Trump accept such a humiliation? Probably even more unlikely.

But what we do know is what Biden did and is responsible for.

So sorry but the outcome under Trump was not destined to happen.

You can’t attribute what we do not know to Trump.

Trump is rejecting any notion of a US withdrawal is he was POTUS under the present conditions, saying that it wasn’t time and conducive to a dignified withdrawal for America and Afghans.

The majority of Afghans are not responsible. Poor bastards are victims in this too.

Biden is the biggest fuck up America ever elected. I mean you couldn’t even make it up if you tried.

He has to be the worst ever US POTUS in US History already. And I mean that absolute worst ever. Worse than Ford even and he was another fuck up.

The Democrats are in a lot of trouble. Doubtful Biden will see the next 6 months out. Also, they are looking at total annihilation in 2022 and 2024. Looks like the odds are now strongly favouring a Trump come back.

Kamala, is still nowhere to be seen. Could she know she too is finished and try to distance herself as much as possible. This is career ending stuff for her too.
