Turkish Soldiers in Afghanistan

Postby Lordo » Sun Jul 18, 2021 9:03 pm

So as the west is pulling out of Afghanistan, Turkish soldiers are being sent in. I wonder who came up with this idea?

...yes, Pakistan and Turkey, along with Iran; what could go wrong (for the rest of us)?

...yes, scary isn't it? Like it was handed (to the "Brotherhood) on a plate. And Egypt will have something to say, once "they" get going (dividing countries and influence of power); can you imagine, Egypt the bulwark for Western values.

...according to Erdogan, what is the world as he sees it post-Lausanne.

Who's ever idea it was, Afghans think it is unacceptable and the Taliban are warning Turkey of consequences.

A few days ago, Erdogan was was saying the Taliban should end their occupation of Afghanistan.

Today, he is saying that he doesnt have any conflicting issues with their beliefs.

Tomorrow, Erdogan will be occupying Afghanistan,

The man puts Turkey in the same pot as the Taliban.

What a Rogue..

Erdogan's beliefs may well be the same as Taliban's but Erdogan is not Turkey. He is an elected person and he is there today and wil lbe gone tomorrow. It is th standard thinking of a fascist that cannot tel the difference between the leader and the country. Any critisism of their leader is seenas an attack ontheir country.

BTW are you aware how many Turkic people live in Afghanistan. Just like in Syria and Iraq there is a population there which wil be seen as Turkish Interests.
