Is the situation in Yemen something that we should be joking about FFS.

Sorry to be (perhaps boringly) repetitive but a reminder that here you're dealing with a man who thinks along these lines:

And no, with the death total so far something not too far short of a quarter of a million and no real end in sight - not a joke.

Fanatasising an nuclear attack on a the most powerful nation on earth which actually causes all the pain to the rest of the worls is certainly totally wrong, but make fun of Yemenis at this point is just a level unheard of.

...even a barefoot youth is greater as a match against a military far more sophisticated if they carry an idea that does not die.

(is that your point?)

Indeed, the "West" ignores the misery that creates such soldiers, and their own implication(s), at their peril.

...beyond guns there is butter, and beyond guns and butter, there is one Family, called Man.

Intentions count.

...i don't get your intentions GR, opening this topic in the Joke and Enigmas section, but i'd bet if you had a button with this mood you are in, a whole lot of Humanity would be glass.

...therefore (beside individuals like me), wanting to end the American people, who else as a People would you like to end?

...more importantly, who in this world would you keep from such harm?

But the reality is this. What has the west got to do with it? We didn’t start the war.

Is it because of Saudi Arabia, a major US ally, who is involved by proxy? Is this why the west is to blame?

Well if that’s the case, then why not mention Iran who is also involved by proxy?

Saudi Arabia does not want to be surrounded by an Iranian iron curtain. They do have as much right to support Sunni rebels if Iran is arming the Shia to attack them.

The west is just a bystander here. Not much they can do.

Except, if Yemen does fall, the US might have something to say about that because our oil supplies will be at risk. Iran will be attacked with cruise missiles to send a message. Plus there will be a major task force in the gulf probably and that will be to the detriment of Iran.

And also, don’t forget it’s not just Saudi Arabia. The United Arab Emirates, Oman, Bahrain are will them. I have a lot of time for UAE. Almost ended up living there as a contractor a few years ago - still have the signed employment contract. Great country. And one of my regrets was that it didn’t go through in the end.

It’s got to the point where Saudi Arabia and UAE can’t just sit by while Iran does it’s worst and fucks them over.

Do you understand that the Straits can not fall under Iranian control? Do you know why? And do you think the west has interests in preventing this from becoming reality? Simple questions really.

What we want is our oil and Iran knows it.

That’s all we want. We get that oil from UAE, KSA, Bahrain and Kuwait.

It’s about our energy security and our economies depend on it. If Iran jeopardises this, then that is a good enough reason fir war with Iran.

It isn’t of our doing but theirs.

No one mentioned that. All you say is point fingers at the west saying they are causing trouble when they are not. No mention of Iran causing trouble at all, despite them being a major instigator.

As such, our interests are predetermined to favour KSA, UAE, Bahrain, Kuwait and Oman.

But the west didn’t start that war. Isn’t involved in the war for now. If it does involve itself, it will be for valid reasons to ensure our energy supplies are not besieged from our markets.

You guys seem to think we have no rights to do it. Well we do because KSA, UAE, Oman, Bahrain, and Kuwait also have rights as nations in this world. If they are faced with disaster and an Iranian Iron curtain, restricting our supplies, that is when the west will act and it won’t be very nice for Iran.

Crude oil is the reason so wakey wakey eggs and bakey!!! One day the penny will drop. We don’t care that the KSA is a major human rights abuser. Because so is Iran. It’s about Oil. The money talks and the bullshit walks!

Just a reality check because you guys need one.

I’m just really intrigued why some of you always think it’s the west’s fault. No mention of Iran.

It’s always the west and it’s stooges, in this case KSA.

Iran is innocent?

And why you seem to think that the KSA has no right from shielding the Arabian Peninsula from Iranian influence and domination when quite literally it’s very dangerous for them.

The three dummkopfs who didn’t get this thread/image (Bordo, Londonfaggot, and Repulsive) should take their computers back and tell them they’re too fucking stupid to own one.

That could be really upsetting. Were it not for the fact I don’t think there’s a single regular poster on this forum you haven’t called stupid at some time or another. They just don’t measure up nowadays.

Note the use of “I”, as opposed to “we”.
