In our world supply and Demand is king but only if it benefits the corporations. It seems it does not extend to workers. In the NHS there is a huge shortage of Nurses and Doctors but the Fishy Sunak does not need to apply the principle of supply and demand. In fact not only are there shortages but there is a retention issue too. If this was about shortages of CEOs then you can be sure it would be applied and millions in bonuses and wages would be offered not only to retain people but also to recruit.
I guess one law for them and one law for the rest of us applies today as it has ever done.
