First is to pay the population of countries in West Africa where the slaves were taken from to compensate them for their loss.

Secondly everybody who lives in the West Indies as well as all the people who migrated from there since should also be paid. At no point should the governments of these people receive any money.

Finally all the properties of all the descendants of salve owners should be requisitioned to pay for it. As well as all the supposedly philanthropy activities should be also requisitioned for the same purpose. Any short fall should be paid for by the governments which supported the slave owners at the time.

Quite why the slave owners were compensated for giving up their slaves and the slaves got noting for being enslaved is beyond belief.

There is 675,304 empty homes in England and while ove 10 million people are severing poverty, this government is imposing austerity on the poorest people, while trying to build 1.5 million homes as well as continue with the HS2 disaster.

As to HS2, they will just spend billions more and still not complete it as the price goes up daily. In fact it was declared not viable back in 2012 but still the government continue to pour in billions into it. What difference does it make how long it takes to get to Birmingham, when it takes me 1 hour to get to Euston with at least 15 minute wait before boarding the train. You dare not reduce the waiting time as the chances are you will be stuck in the underground somewhere which will cause you to miss the train.
