It seems the mainstream media is doing their best from actually not informing the public of realities.
This morning a caller phoned in to discuss the raids which pick up 75 illegal migrants from premises and 125 businesses have been charged for employed illegal migrants.
The objective here is to break the business model of the smugglers. Quite how this does that is never explained.

The caller mentioned the fact that the business model of the smugglers is the fact that asylum seekers cannot apply for asylum unless they set foot on the gerund. The presenter just ignored that comment and changed the subject. When in reality if you want to break the business model of smugglers you have to set up places for application so asylum seekers can apply for asylum without needing to pay the smugglers.
