...a quick and painless end so to speak; let the fire burn it all down with elections in July, i'd like to agree. Such a Party i imagine has foundations strong enough to rebuild, reborn. But given England/Britain's impoverished state at present i am wary of who will pick up the pieces. Conservatives need to take a long hard look at themselves to determine how they got such representation so incompetent and corrupt, and a "new" Conservative Party would result in more of the same (and worse).
Mr. Sunak serves the people just like him, his constituency; who can blame him. Yet the United Kingdom needs a Leader, Leadership that in its vision unites them as a People; since Brexit something which seems lacking and even more needed.
...indeed, his hope is in the unforeseen. He waits for the moment where choosing him seems the better choice; if Trump wins for example, if Russia attacks a NATO country, or if somewhere (e.g. China, Korea, Pakistan) someone drops a nuclear bomb, are epic distractions where his failures would be put to the side.
