Interesting fact of the day.

People are coming here as legal migrants on a care home worker visa and are able to work elsewhere. The reason for this is that Home Office has one compliance officer per 1600 companies to check that people indeed are working where they are supposed to work that even such a company does exist.

You could not make it up.

Here is another.

https://commonslibrary.parliament.uk/research-briefings/cbp-9920/

What are the five changes?

Social care workers will not be allowed to bring dependants (that is, partners and children) on their visa.

The minimum salary to be sponsored for a Skilled Worker visa will increase, with the baseline minimum rising from £26,200 to £38,700 (but not for the Health and Care Worker visa, which includes social care, or for education workers on national pay scales).

Changes to the shortage occupation list to reduce the number of jobs where it will be possible to sponsor someone for a Skilled Worker visa on less than the usual minimum salary (which is the main purpose of the list).

The minimum income normally required to sponsor someone for a spouse/partner visa will rise in stages from £18,600 per year to £29,000 and ultimately around £38,700.

A review of the Graduate visa, a two-year unsponsored work permit for overseas graduates of British universities.

What can one say about this unless you are a Swine in which case you celebrate.

What do you say about an individual who keeps the information about SAS killing innocent civilians and waits till called for an enquiry to reveal it. Should he not gone to first the military police first and if they do nothing to the Police and if they do nothing come out and say it to the public.

Veterans' Minister Johnny Mercer said 'multiple sources' warned him that unarmed Afghans were shot by the SAS during the war.

Giving evidence to the Afghanistan public inquiry, the former army officer said he was aware of a 'pallor and odour' that the elite unit was suspected of carrying out unlawful killings and covering up their crimes.

What a useless piece of shit this has been. Did not travel more than a few meters. I could have sold them a weapon system that would travel twice that distance and at half the price.

The test firing of a Trident missile from a Royal Navy submarine has failed, for the second time in a row. The latest test of the UK's nuclear deterrent was from HMS Vanguard and was witnessed by the defence secretary.
The missile's booster rockets failed and it landed in the sea close to the launch site.
When on patrol missiles would usually carry nuclear warheads but they are not fitted for test fires.

Thank fuck for that.

No this is truly remarkable.

PM Rishi Sunak says calling for an immediate ceasefire in Gaza now, without a plan for a permanent solution, is "not in anyone's interest"

I always thought the idea is to call for a ceasefire and negotiate and end to war. Is that not what they did even with the Germans and Japan in 1945.

So he would like is the continuation of slaughter of innocent civilians as Israel has no intention of adhering to rules of war.

If they had the balls they could have fought Hamas in the cities house by house with absolutely minimal casualties but instead they carpet bombed hole neighbourhoods supposedly to kill Hamas and all along they were underground and not affected by the bombing.

The Diaper Army is truly the most cowardly army on earth and has inherited this trait from their masters the Americans who loved carpet bombing everything everywhere.

May they and their supporters rot all rot in hell

The veterans minister has been warned by the chairman of the independent inquiry into alleged murders by special forces in Afghanistan of “potentially serious legal consequences” after he refused to disclose names to the investigation.

Sir Charles Haddon-Cave told Johnny Mercer his decision to “refuse to answer legitimate questions … at a public inquiry” were “disappointing … surprising … and completely unacceptable”.
On Tuesday, Mr Mercer repeatedly refused to hand over names of “multiple officers” who told him about allegations of murder and a cover-up during his time as a backbench MP, while giving evidence to the inquiry at the Royal Courts of Justice.

He told counsel to the inquiry Oliver Glasgow KC: “The one thing you can hold on to is your integrity and I will be doing that with these individuals.”

This Swine thinks by hiding information about murder is integrity. They really have turned their world upside down

No. In WW2, Germany and Japan (both of whom, despite their collective responsibility for about 50 million deaths, you've supported in past posts), were totally defeated. They were made to come submissively to the table, ritually hand over their arms and sign a document of unconditional surrender. There was no "negotiation".

Lordo wrote:So he would like is the continuation of slaughter of innocent civilians as Israel has no intention of adhering to rules of war.

If the Israelis had wanted to eradicate the Palestinians they could have done it in a week. As with all embedded terrorist organisations, when their murderous actions are responded to Hamas fade back into the civiilian population. The Israelis have said they will follow Hamas wherever they go. The Palestinians are in essence reaping the whirlwind. Talk of "genocide" is ridiculous. If you want to understand what Genocide is try looking into what Hitler, Stalin and Pol Pot did. Heaven forbid you should actually take that sort of trouble though. Frankly, as is almost always the case, you really don't have a clue.

Which "rules of war" do you think Hamas were observing on 7th October? Ohh, I forgot, it was nothing to do with them.

It's pathetic, how you latch onto a childish word - like it was something that makes you look good - and then permanently stick to it. "Diaper". FFS, grow up (there's a ridiculous idea)

The Israeli Armed Forces are among the best in the world. In the past, even Putin has been wary of them. Although, recently, he's blown that by supporting the view that Israel is acting in an unacceptable manner. That, whilst his army blasts the shit out of Ukranian towns and cities, resulting in the deaths of hundreds of thousands on both sides. Thankful for world attention being diverted from what he's doing there. Not to mention US arms, otherwise destined for Ukraine, instead finding their way to Israel. Win/win.

Surrounded by enemies since their inception Israel has always adopted an attitude of giving no quarter. To put it bluntly - you absolutely don't fuck with them. A lesson which Arabs - and Persians for that matter - have gone relentlessly through a painful process of (not) learning.
