The first UK council to experiment with a four-day working week is expected to extend the trial after analysis showed it was “overwhelmingly positive” for staff health and wellbeing
without denting performance.

About 450 mainly desk-based employees of the Liberal Democrat-led South Cambridgeshire council embarked on the three-month pilot in January. They could choose to take Monday or Friday off and were expected to work more productively in the remaining four days. Their pay was not affected.

Papers prepared for the council’s employment and staffing committee, which is due to meet on 2 May, recommend that the trial be extended for another 12 months. They also suggest that workers involved in refuse collection be invited to join a separate, three-month pilot of the four-day week.

Clearly, they should sack 20% of the staff and pass the saving onto those that have been forced to pay for their largesse...

That's confusing. Surely, his stated view was the Guardian isn't fit to wipe your ass on? That would be hypocritical/double standards. No? Not from out Lordo. :?

Now, where was I, oh yes, have you heard the latest from Cruella.

Last week, Home Secretary Suella Braverman told senior police officers that waving a Palestinian flag or chanting specific phrases for Palestine, such as “from the river to the sea, Palestine will be free,” may be a criminal offense.

I guessed she is schooled well being married to a zionist and all that.

I don't think the Swine here have got the message.

On your knees you filthy animal

Sometimes you read something and you think what the fuck are they on about?

We're struggling to find a house for our growing family': Chancellor Jeremy Hunt under pressure to reduce stamp duty for older homeowners

If an older person is downsizing and selling a larger property to buy a smaller property, there will be plenty of money left to pay the stamp duty. The people who need help are the younger families, but messing about with stamp duty ain't gona fix it, because the problem is the house price / Salary ration is the real problem. People simply can't even afford to get on the housing ladder. So the young coule do not only have a problem of buying a bigger property but they will also have a difficulty selling their property too. This is what you get for 13 years of Swine rule and sheep still do support this Swine government.

Would you adam and eve it.

The country’s top civil servant said Boris Johnson was “mad” if he did not believe his private WhatsApp messages would become public as part of the UK Covid-19 Inquiry.

The comments were made in WhatsApp messages between Cabinet Secretary Simon Case and then-principal private secretary Martin Reynolds, who is appearing before Baroness Heather Hallett’s probe.

Every time you think this has bottomed out, and yet another news comes out to shock you.

A senior civil servant during the pandemic admitted setting WhatsApp messages to "disappear" as calls for a COVID inquiry grew - but said he can't remember why.

Don't you just feel sorry for this poor Swine

You read something and you want to laugh but only if this was not so serious. How the fuck did the Swine police smell cannabin in a car and stopped them to search and handcuffed them in the process? We have some great cops don't we. They must have the smelling power of a bloodhound. Why on earth are called pigs then?

Trevor Phillips has grilled Met chief Sir Mark Rowley over why police 'had the time' to pull over Team GB athlete Bianca Williams over false claims her car smelt of cannabis but could not stop the murders of young black men.

And yet people to this day are saying leave him alone, he was doing his best. Nobody knew what to do.

Aseries of scathing WhatsApp messages sent between Boris Johnson’s top team have accused the former prime minister of making it “impossible” to tackle Covid, as he created chaos and changed direction “every day”.

The extraordinary messages sent between the likes of Dominic Cummings, Lee Cain and Simon Case reveal the strong disquiet among Mr Johnson’s advisers, with Mr Case, the cabinet secretary and top civil servant, at one point declaring: “I am at the end of my tether.”

He should be fuckin locked up.
